Ok, so first off, please read this entirely... This place is WORTH the stay!! Stefano and Assunta are likely the best hosts I've ever had just about anywhere in the world! They are traditional Italians and their villa/estate is absolutely stunning! I'm not sure how many rooms there are, however, our room had a four poster bed, a cot and...

We stayed with friends in September and we're delighted with everything. Stephanie and Assumption were wonderful hosts making us feel like house guests not paying ones. We had a pasta cookery lesson with Stephano which was turned into part of a fabulous dinner by Assumption, which we shared with some Irish guests. The house is filled with random antique furniture,...

We stayed here with two girls (ages 8 and 10) while visting Italy. We were there for 4 nights and 5 days. It was so gorgeous and relaxing that none of us wanted to leave. The morning breakfast was delicious and the coffee even better. We could eat inside or outside in the graden and Assunta, the hostess, made delicious...

We stayed at Casa Palmira for 5 nights in rainy April. Assunta and Stefano are the best hosts ever and we left feeling like we had made lifelong friends. Casa Palmira is beautiful and has a peaceful, calm quality so much needed when coming from busy London life. The room was spacious and well-furnished and for most of the time...

Casa Palmira (and Assunta and Stefano) are wonderful!! We were made to feel like out of town guests rather than customers. The pasta making class we took with Stefano was amazing and breakfasts made by Assunta were something to look forward to! They even provided transportation to and from a nearby town after our visits into Florence! We could not...

This is a great place! I encourage everyone to have the Home Cooked Meal they offer. It was the best meal of the trip. A little bit out of the way, but we had a car to cruise around everywhere. You will really enjoy Assunta and Stephano, they are wonderful hosts. Also make sure you order Assunta's scrambled eggs in...

We booked Casa Palmira as our home base as we spent time in Florence, Sienna and the Tuscan wine country. It was PERFECT! A bit challenging to find due to our rental car's navigation system but we called Assunta while in route and she talked us in! I would recommend asking Assunta or Stefano the specific address to plug into...

My husband and I stayed at Casa Palmira for 11 nights for our honeymoon. Our room was La Chiocciola and was very nice and spacious with a huge four poster bed, which was firm but comfortable. We had two windows overlooking the garden. The bathroom was nice and spacious with shower, sink, toilet and bidet. Although there were no tea...

We stayed at The Casa Palmira for the final part of our trip to Tuscany for two nights. It is the most incredible place with amazing hosts. We arrived by public transport with two rucksacks, the bus stop is right outside. Firenze is a short bus ride and a reliable service. Our kind hosts offered to take us by car...

This was our second visit to Casa Palmira and we weren't disappointed. Assunta and Stefano are gracious and welcoming hosts. We arrived a little early, about noon and fortunately our room was ready. As we were tired we decided to stay a while and read in the garden. A short while later Assunta asked us to join her and Stefano...

“We were on the top floor with most of the others in our party. It was cozier and quieter that way, but not always so easy to run back up to get something before leaving. Not a good idea for someone who might be able to but has some difficulty walking up and down stairs.”
