This was my first visit to Italy , the Villa was a very pleasant trip. My friend and I arrived late Saturday night but they ordered us a lovely platter of meats, cheese and bread to eat. Set in a 14th Century villa we had lovely rooms, with a large outside patio, clean bathroom , big bed and a desk... More

I visited Tuscany because of business with my friends. So one of my friends recommended this hotel. I was impressed warm welcoming and there is also small winery so you can experience their own wine as well. They are so good and reatautant is fantastic. It was beautiful hotel keeping their own legacy building as natural from old times. So... More

This hotel is well situated to explore the Chianti region although not in a big town it is within reach of many lovely places including Florence itself. The hotel is a mixture of old and modern with good facilities including a pool and Gym. One of the things it lacks (although it does have a mini bar service) is tea... More

If you want to stay in a hotel that - takes your dirty towels and doesn't replace them so you are short towels every day - takes messages from your friends and when you ask the front desk do you have messages they say they called your room and you weren't answering. So you check your phone in your room... More

We spent 5 nights at the Villa Casagrande in Figline at the end of September. And we loved it. The rooms were nice but the property was exceptional. Right on the edge of Figline old town. The staff were always very helpful and friendly. Restaurant was great. But the grounds of the Villa were beautiful. And very relaxing after a... More

I've stayed here twice. The room is midsized, good closet space, the bed has pillows that resemble day old pancakes and a decent sized bathroom but virtually no place to put product/toiletries etc. The shower is a hoot. The shower is so small that you have to enter it sideways and ladies, if you want to shave your legs, you... More

We stayed here as part of a small group. I wouldn't call this a hotel, in a good sense. It is a lot more. The property feels as if it was your grandparent's big old house, which was subdivided into many rooms to accommodate a constant flow of visiting relatives. In that sense, potential guests will need to check their... More

I used to eat in the villa's restaurant where they prepared very good dishes of high quality. I could not find anymore this quality and the meals offered are absolutely at the level of a cheap restaurant even though prices are still very high.

We stayed here for 6 nights, mid-September of this year. First and foremost, this is a historic, Tuscan style property so expectations have to be accordingly. If you are looking for modern, this is not for you. However, if you are looking for a castle like feeling, and rooms that are done in drapes, with brick walls, carpets, etc than... More

We had just arrived for our stay hungry and tired. The waiter was friendly and helpful and knowledgable We had a mixed platter of meats and cheeses washed down by a bottle of wine we are looking forward to our next meal.
