We booked a weekend at the Sportsmans Lodge and it was a good choice. The room was very nice with a comfy bed and lots of thoughtful extras. The hospitality tray went way beyond expectations with Latte and Cappuccino sachets, lemon tea bags and two types of squash. They had a provided a heater and hot water bottle as well....

Heather and Bob welcomed us warmly with coffee and cakes. The house was warm too, and quaint and comfortable, and we had the freedom of their sitting room and large television. There was also a TV in our room and the view from the windows was of sheep in the field. The selection of drinks in the bedroom was comprehensive...

Stayed here for 2 nights in November, in a single room, and found the whole experience to be well above what I had anticipated for the price. The proprietors were extremely friendly and helpful, and couldn't do enough for me. There were a lot of nice extra touches that made the place stand out compared to some other B&B's. The...

Lovely private bathroom, soon to be remodelled again we learnt. Excellent selection of hot drinks in room and also many freebies in bathroom such as bubble bath and brand new toothbrushes! Slept well but you are on a junction so some traffic noise is to be expected. Darker curtains or a blind would be a good addition to keep out...

We stayed here for one night on route to Holyhead ferry, We were made to feel welcome and make ourselves at home. Tea and cakes on arrival which was lovely. There is a TV lounge so we were able to sit in there instead of our room and there was sky tv which was really a plus. The room had...

Annie and I wanted a short break in Anglesey for a few nights but try as we might virtually EVERYWHERE was booked. The only room on the island was at the Sportsmans Lodge in Rhosgoch (a place that I had never heard of let alone been to)! Well, what can I say about this wonderful accommodation that hasn't already been...

Excellent value, service, and breakfast. Can't praise this enough - fully recommended. Room was very clean, nicely furnished, very comfortable bed, with everything you would want for drinks, snacks and toiletries.

We initially were intending to stay much closer to Holyhead but as we began looking through Booking.coms website the day before soon realised that the whole islands accomodation had been booked and we had even lost our reservation at The Bull Hotel in Valley. The only ROOM left in the whole of the island was in The Sportsmans Lodge in...
