Just went in for drinks, there was a lovely fire in the bar area. So nice to walk into a pub and it feel warm and friendly. Hope they can make a real success here in pershore, looking forward to trying the food.

This pub used to be a good venue some years ago. A change of ownership changed all that with a couple who kept running out of food . It has now changed hands again and the décor is fine but there still seems uncertainly about who will be running in the future, it will not be who served us as... More

Have just returned from having an excellent meal and drinks at The Star. The food was really good and staff very friendly. Very good value for money, Will certainly return when on our next visit to the area.

We were glad to see that this Pub/Restaurant had reopened but were disappointed when we went to try it for dinner. Half the main courses were not available. We would have stopped and had a drink but the barmaid was very curt when we aske for the heavy metal music to be turned down. Can't see us going back there.

Always a pleasure to visit the Star. Have been many times since it reopened in September 2015. Have taken family and friends. Never had a bad meal, and nothing has ever been to much trouble. The staff make a great pub!🍺 Rooms aren't operating at the moment.

We went to The Star for a post cinema meal. It was very quiet but the food was very good and the service attentive. We had three different meals and we all enjoyed them. We would not hesitate to return.

We didn't stay here but came for a meal on Saturday night. Three of us, having 2 courses, no room for the third course! We all ordered different meals and enjoyed each one. Food served on hot plates. Something I always look for. The menu was varied and the service was great.

Turned up at 8:40 pm and asked for the menu. Told in a bad manner that I had to order immediately as kitchen closes at 8:45 yet it said 9 pm on outside. Went to the Angel Hotel instead and had a great meal. Nothing was too much trouble. Spent a fortune on wine as they stayed open until 6... More

Food excellent, good service, sadly dogs not welcome. Gentleman was very chatty and welcoming, also helpful when we asked about changes to the food required. No parking short walk to the nearest car park, but worth it. We only ate there so can't comment on the hotel facilities

Thank Jill C
