Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.

We stayed at Courtyard Cottage for 6 nights over the August Bank Holiday. This was our second visit and we hope to return in 2024. The warm welcome we received from Gina was second to none. The cottage is immaculate with every facility and with a very generous welcome food package. A lot of information with maps is provided by Emily about numerous walks in the area. We strongly recommend The Courtyard Cottage. It is in a very quiet location with parking, yet convenient to Pershore Town and other places of interest in Worcestershire.

Courtyard Cottage is wonderful holiday accommodation for two people. It is full of charm and has everything in it you could possibly need. The setting, Pensham Hill, Pershore, is both beautiful and peaceful and there are outdoor tables and chairs in the courtyard and gardens to enjoy a tea/coffee in the serene surroundings. The host, Emily, was also really helpful. I would thoroughly recommend Courtyard Cottages and will definitely be back!

It is to my utter shame that I am only now writing the review I heartily promised as we departed. Better late than never!!! 🤦🏼‍♀️ My fiancé and I had the absolute pleasure of staying here at the end of June after a hot visit to the nearby beautiful Confetti Fields in Wick. The Barn is located in a dreamy setting... it felt like an oasis! We received a warm welcome from Gina when we arrived hot and flustered in the late afternoon and enjoyed refreshments on the terrace (including home-made cake!). Gina recommended where to eat that evening and we managed to get a table at The Swan Inn (about 10 mins drive away). Delicious food (another recommendation!), plus we bumped into Gina & family there which was fun and lovely to see. My fiancé enjoyed the sauna room attached to our room (a new experience for him). Our room was quiet, comfortable and clean... I loved the pink towels (it’s the little things!) Our breakfast was delicious (one of the best) and we met another lovely couple staying there which was fun! We completely recommend this well-appointed and hospitable home-from-home and hope we get the opportunity to stay again on our UK travels! Thanks Gina - it was lovely to meet you! 💖

The Barn Pensham Hill sets the standard to which other b&b’s should aspire. Truly excellent hospitality from Gina. My wife had stayed here with her sister over ten years ago and had said it was marvellous back then but I was dubious that the standards would still be as high however my doubts proved totally unfounded. We stayed for two nights during the Pershore Plum festival and were offered the choice between a double room with sauna or a twin- bedded room with its wonderful view of Pershore Abbey. We chose the latter and were not disappointed. On arrival we were offered tea & coffee on the patio - a nice touch after our journey there. The accommodation is set in the most beautiful gardens and is blissfully quiet. A perfect place to relax. Little touches such as the fresh flowers in the bedroom bathroom and sitting room abound. Our bedroom was really comfortable and we had a good night’s sleep on both nights. As previous reviewers have said, the breakfasts are lovely. Good quality ingredients cooked perfectly to set you up for the day. There’s not much Gina doesn’t know about the surrounding area and she is more than happy to provide any information one may need. There are plenty of brochures and books about local attractions set out in the sitting room for one to leaf through but a chat with Gina will generally suffice. Pershore Town with its pubs and restaurants is about half an hour stroll from the Barn so you can easily leave your car there and walk into town for dinner, which we did. Fantastic value for money, I would definitely recommend staying here and would stay here again myself when next in the area.

What an absolute gem of a find, we were made to feel so welcome by Gina, as first time visitors it was fantastic, I imagine you would be treated the same whether it was your first visit or your 100th, we left smiling after a very pleasant stay and a hearty breakfast, would highly recommend a stay if you ever have to visit this part of the world.

Gina, Matthew and Em are an unbelievably good family team. To the exquisite detail of the bedroom and bathroom and the delicious traditional breakfasts they add a friendly attentive can-do style that is unbeatable. Gina is also an expert on everything that is going on in the area and knows how to get the best from the great places to visit, like Broadway, Malvern and of course Pershore and it's wonderful Abbey. The views are breathtaking. We were extremely satisfied with our ten night stay and wholly endorse and recommend them.

An extremely well appointed barn conversion with no expense spared. Very comfortable beds, quality bedlinen and furnishings throughout. We were staying in the barn with two other couples, who were our friends, in order to attend a special birthday celebration. There is an excellent living room, with cosy fire, so we could all relax and spend time catching up before getting ready for the party. As soon as we arrived we were given freshly brewed coffee and home-made cake and later in the afternoon, after we had been out to explore the area, we all enjoyed cups of tea by the fire with home-made biscuits. Breakfast was excellent and, as we were all snowed in, our cars were cleared of snow while we relaxed and the way was made clear for us to be able to get our cars out onto the main road. This was a really lovely place to stay and we hope to be able to visit again in the future.

Stayed with friends in the Barn for four nights. We have stayed here previously and please God will do so again in the future. Everything about this place exudes class, world class! You will not find a better place to stay anywhere. From the moment you arrive, you have to be impressed with the style, space, character and quality of this exceptional B&B. Even describing it as a ‘B&B’ seems to be understating what greets you. And I love B&B’s!! The rooms are spacious and the quality of the bed linen and furnishings is brilliant. After a great night sleep, you are treated to an amazing breakfast, starting with orange segments, home made porridge, orange or local apple juice, yogurts, fresh fruits, a full English breakfast (cooked to your requirements) and finished off with pancakes. Tea or coffee and toast with a selection of home made preserves are also served. Take time to enjoy. What a way to start your day!! Gina, Emily and Mathew were most gracious hosts and could not do enough for us. The attention to detail and their willingness to ensure that your visit is perfect was very genuine and much appreciated. No effort is spared to ensure you have a wonderful experience. Thank you yet again for excelling! This is a 5-star ++ establishment!

First my apologies - I thought I'd reviewed this gem after staying here last June/July. The attention to detail, quality, friendliness, cleanliness, ambience, service, food and everything else about this place are unbelievably good. That's it - you'll love it. Before we arrived I'd checked Tripadvisor and couldn't believe everyone had given it a rating of 5, that had to be a fix. Wrong. Let me just confirm that it was no fix and if anyone ever does give it less than a 5 then don't believe their review
