This is a great place to stay. Quirky handmade beds and very clean throughout. There is a lift. The staff are very efficient and helpful. The breakfasts are toasted bread, coffee, fresh orange juice -and you can add jamón, garlic, pâte, tomato. .jam or there are pastries available most days. Their tapas are prices at €3 - choose from a...

We stayed here just for a night, on this old town which we live, and it ticked all the boxes for us. Big old high-ceilinged rooms with beams, decent bathrooms, a nice cafe downstairs, friendly and helpful staff, reasonable wifi, and very central. And reasonable prices too given that the August festival was about to start - 77 euros for...

This convent has been sensitively converted to a hotel. The room we had on the first floor was lovely, very simple, painted white with air con and a little window looking out to the countryside. Very quiet, no street sounds. There is a lift useful for heavy luggage. On the same floor is a gorgeous communal lounge area with lots...

Comfortable beds, very clean rooms, cool and beautiful original features. Lovely views. Breakfast toast with tomato(passata), cheese or jams. Lovely coffee. Little English spoken in bar but we were in Spain. Reception friendly and helpful. 10/15 mins drive from beach, but much to explore in the town. Pleasant bars and restaurants. Well worth a stay.

Our room was in the back. It faced a patio, but no one was using the patio, so we had a very restful night. The décor and ambiance is traditional, simple but adequate. The common areas are spacious and attractive. Wifi was a bit sketchy but works in certain areas of the hotel. What is it with the Spanish mid-range...

This converted 17th Century convent is well situated atop the beautiful ' pueblo blanco' hill town of Vejer. Some of the retained internal features add much needed character and it is worth taking a few moments to explore the buildings various nooks and crannies. Everything else is distinctly 3 star at best. The rooms are plain and dreary, the bathrooms...

Staff were friendly and helpful, but that's all that can be said for it. Room was small, bathroom even smaller, noisy plumbing (sounded like a tank constantly filling and emptying above our heads). Lots of street noise, including recycling/waste collection at 3am. Wifi intermittent...

Despite nearly crashing our rental car into the tiny streets trying to find the hotel with terrible sat nav, once we were there we were really pleased with our choice. You don't very often get to stay in a 17th century convent, with the history comes unusual rooms which a super clean & wifi signal that doesn't reach much past...

We were only in the village for one night and we booked into this lovely old convent right in the centre of the village. Rooms were pretty basic but clean. All rooms have twin beds. Would stay again but probably only for one night.
