My boyfriend and I stayed at this hotel for one night. We spent 3 nights before in Florence so it was the perfect opportunity to come and relax for the night. It was such a beautiful property and the only noise that could be heard...More
I had doubts about staying here from reading previous reviews but I'm happy to say we all enjoyed our stay immensely. I discovered Hilton only took on the property in April 2017 which explains the previous negative reviews as it was under different management.

This hotel has really nice territory. It is former medieval village changed to hotel. If you’re lucky to be in a warm season you can use nice outdoor swimming pool. However our room was small and a bit shabby. Nice experience for Tuscany vacation.
Wow what a beautiful place this is. The location is perfect for exploring the villages and towns of Tuscany and just 20 minutes from Siena. A car is a must to explore plus a taxi into Siena is €40 each way!

We were at the resort during a lull in occupancy - after Easter - before high season. The property is truly magnificent, definitely meets the criteria for a Hilton Curio - unique historic grounds and buildings combined with top notch Hilton service.

I too would think the queen would be larger but you might take the advice and call to confirm. I can assure you whichever suite you are in you will love the Curio. Our suite was magnificent but then again husband is a “Forever Diamond” member of Hilton so we got a nice upgrade.
It is the MOST serene beautiful place we have stayed recently - and that is comparing it to Waldorf Rome Cavalieri, as well as Waldorf Trianon Palace Versailles we visit both frequently and they are our absolute favorites. The grounds of the Curio are beautifully maintained, dining is a pleasurable experience, and breakfast on the terrace overlooking the vast Tuscan landscape makes you want to stay forever. Take a bike ride while there and enjoy the countryside - ride to the spa area it’s quite a trek but very beautiful relaxing ride.
