The hotel is clean and well positioned for reaching downtown. Rooms are essential but clean and staff is kind and collaborative. Breakfast essential but fine. The only bad point of my staying was a toilet drainpipe that run in the middle of the room and every time there was a flush. anyway the comment is positive.

Just booked in here as an overnight stop so expected little but was greeted by the friendly owner and shown to our room, which was clean, spacious ( by French standard so) and had a well equipped bathroom with separate loo. Being a Sunday amid French national holidays most restaurants were closed and the hotel only offers B&B, but we...

My friend and I stayed here during a cycling tour. We'd had a long day with 3 hours lost through a puncture and when we reached Coutances, I'd lost my phone. I mentioned this to Olivier when we checked in and said I thought I knew where and how I'd lost it. He immediately offered to drive me the 6km...

on our motorcycle tour of France we always make coutance our first stop from the ferry, once again a very welcoming greeting from the hotel manager, nothing is to much trouble, and his command of English always puts us at ease, we look forward to staying there next year!!

Great value and very clean hotel. The staff is very friendly and helpful. My friend and I stayed for 2 nights and enjoyed the hotel facility. Perfect location, close to bus stop and city centre. I will definitely recommend the hotel to my friends.

The hotel accommodates bicyclers and ebikes with a garage for storage. Upon checkin the lady at the desk is super friendly and excited to host guests, but bring your French translator. Our room, 214, was large and the shower had a relaxing large tub. Internet was weak on the second floor, but free. Our TV was only 12 inches. The...

We stayed a week, two adults two kids in a family room. Great value and a perfect location. We wanted somewhere within walking distance of restaurants for our evening meals (and wine). Also within easy driving distance of Cherbourg, Mont St Michel, the D-Day landing beaches, Bayeaux, Granville. The hotel is basic, but clean. My wife said there was not...

For an overnight stay on the way to or from England, this would be a good, functional, inexpensive choice - but in fact we happily stayed for a week and used it as a base for exploring that part of Normandy. The hotel is on quite a significant road but, for that very reason, easy to find; it has free...

We stayed here a week, and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. We felt that we got very good value for money. This is a two-star hotel, and some people would think the rooms are small and the bathrooms minute. But even if this is so, more rational people like ourselves take the view that you do not spend your life in...

“Front rooms are sunny in the afternoon and there is some traffic, though we were not disturbed. There are, however, back rooms as well, which would be cooler and quieter. No lift, but there is at least one ground-floor room.”
