Stayed here in celebration of my dad's birthday. The staff could not have been more delightful. Sophie, Jerome, and Laure are front of house and a credit to the hotel as nothing was too much trouble for them and we were always met with smiles. In fact all the staff were a delight. The restaurant attached is also gorgeous -...

Arrived on a Tuesday afternoon with no reservation, but we were delighted to get a room at Chateau de Pray! We were warmly welcomed by Jerome, who even carried our 2 bags up the stairs for us. Stayed in room #12 on the top floor. Room was very luxurious, very spacious, clean and comfortable, and a fan too, great bathroom...

We visited this chateau 5 years ago and were 'blown away' with the service and food. SO we were very nervous on our return. IT WAS EVEN BETTER!! The room was beautiful, the staff attentive and the food 'to die for'. We need to say no more Thank you everybody at this hotel we look forward to visiting you again...

Whilst the bedroom was a little small it was very nicely decorated and had a great view over the back garden. The loung was very nice with great antique furniture and comfortable chairs. We would not hesitate to revisit

A 10-minute drive from Cahteau d’Amboise and 20 minutes from Chateau de Chenonceau, this castle, which was built around the year 1200, has been renovated in order to bring the comfort and convenience of today without losing the enchantment, the charm...

Very nice hotel. A little out of town (Amboise) but clean, friendly and comfortable. We were able to travel about the Loire Valley easily and it was a great central location. I would definitely stay there again if in the area.

Although we had to climb 45 stairs to our room (yes I counted them!) the room at the top was worth it. It was so beautiful and the castle itself it absolutely charming. You truly feel like royalty while you are staying here. The interior and the grounds are maintained to perfection. The linens feel luxurious, the towels are large...

Great place to use as base for Loire Valley exploration and to feel immersed in local culture. Charming historic chateau with lovely grounds. Staff extremely helpful and pleasant. Dinner at the restaurant here should not be missed.

I stayed at the Chateau de Pray with other 10 family members over Spring Break. Before arriving at the hotel, my booking company had made a mistake on my reservation. We emailed and later called Sophie from the hotel who was very friendly and helpful in resolving our booking issue. Great location, very close to the center of the town...
