Kuujuaq is truly special .... the Auberge is great.... my room was truly truly lovely .... the pub downstairs was a terrific place to watch the game with locals ... and the breakfast system was well organized and delicious too !!

Short stopover to catch a charter flight to Ottawa. Pleasantly surprised by the restaurant's ability to deal with all of us and deliver basic, appetizing food and beverage choices. A bit pricey, but understandable considering the cost of bringing in supplies to this location. I would eat here and / or stay here again if I needed accommodations in Kuujjuuaq.

There are only 2 hotels. This is the best. Nice room with everything you need. Restaurant is inside the hotel. Only problem was the wifi; first day it was working but the following days it was not working and they have done nothing to fix it. Hover all, it a nice hotel

Stayed here June'15 as aircrew for 1 night. Our group of 17 checked in around midnight due to unforeseen delays. The hotel staff stayed open and had a proper meal waiting for us in the dining room. The hotel and rooms are very modern and quite nice for a 'northern' hotel. My only complaint was the temperature of the rooms...

I work further north and got stuck in Kuujjuaq when our flight was cancelled. This was my first time staying here and it was much nicer than I expected. We were in the new part, it was clean, light, modern and comfortable. The staff were lovely and helpful. We ate supper and breakfast at the restaurant and quite enjoyed it....

The room I had on the first floor was great, really hot water, refrigerator, coffee pot and Microwave. Great selection of TV channels. The attached restaurant is nice and the food is good. Average food price for the area, which is to say high, very high. There is a free self serve laundry, very nice feature. The hotel is a...

I had a room on the 2nd floor in the new wing. Clean room, Wifi, microwave and a small fridge. No frill room. During my stay, the outside temperature played havoc with us... going from -10°C to 8°C, so the heating system in the room went nuts... it was always maintained at 27°C, so it was hot in the new...

Very pleased to have stayed here. Benefits - Free laundry - Showers (after a trip to the tundra) - Comfy beds - Clean rooms - Free Wifi (although sometimes slow) Areas to be improved: - Dining room slow service - Front desk slow at time but helpful. Would recommend this as a place to stay

We stayed at this hotel when we were stranded by weather on our way home from a fishing trip. Our room had comfortable beds, was reasonably quiet (there was a very disturbed person in the lobby at 5 am ), the wi-fi worked, and the motel had an attached restaurant that was quite good.We were too warm since there is...

I visited the 14 villages in the Nunavik and Kuujjuaq is my favourite. This hotel is clean and simple and they are presently adding rooms due to a boom in the local economy. As stated by others, internet is iffy at best, but service is acceptable.

“If you want it ark during the summer as for a non-river view room. And ask for blackout drapes, not sure they have them but it would be nice in the summer.”
