Thanks to the entire staff for their warm welcome and their kindness. The guesthouse is very clean, the rooms are a bit small but very well furnished. We really enjoyed the two dinners we had there and there are good restaurants in the neighbourhood. A very good plan if you look for a good accommodation (pool, WiFi, bar, ...) close to the Kruger. Thanks to all Cheers
We spent one night at Kaia Tani before entering Kruger Park, the guest house is set in very lush garden and in a quiet road not far from supermarkets and ATM and also close to the Kruger entrance gate. Our room wasn’t wide but nice and cozy and the bed was very comfortable. We had a very good dinner and a yummy breakfast. Barbara and Paolo are very kind and the staff as well. They can arrange several activities in Kruger, Blyde River Canyon and surrounding area for their guests.
Stunningly beautiful guest house, nice staff and very warm Italian couple running the place. We stayed there for two nights. It is ideally situated 3 minutes from the Phalaborwa Gate to Kruger Park. We loved it there. They serve a good breakfast and dinner. Our host created his own desserts. I tried one and it was great (forgot the name but ask for the one with coconut in it) Can’t think of a better place to stay in Phalaborwa !
Very easy to find.. Situated in a quiet street.. Welcomed by African Reeds as a wall... From the time you enter it is exceptional... From a South African perspective, this is better than what a person would expect. The dinner is exceptional too. There is an aire of welcoming from the owner and his husband. If you are looking for an unwind or just a relaxing evening, this establishment has everything you need.
Arriving at Kaia Tani I was greeted friendly. Check in was quick and was shown to my room. The very welcome air conditioner sorted out the moggy smell in the room since it was very hot. Very nice bathroom with towels and soap. A bottle of water will be very welcome. Very comfortable bed and the room was clean and neat. I was shown the coffee station that was available all night. I did request via email if supper would be available and was under the impression there was a restaurant as well. I never got a response and had to get a take away meal from a fast food place around the corner. I would suggest to respond to requests in time, and inform us so we can make provisions beforehand. Breakfast was well prepared and delicious and enjoyed overlooking the beautiful garden. It is still a very nice place and I will stay again, just small things will make this fantastic!…
