What a great time for us getting out and staying at African Lily . The rooms , the cleanliness and the staff is something to write home to about. We felt so rejuvenated when we left African Lily . What an amazing place to go and rest and relax at .I will recommend this place to anyone

I would not recommend this guesthouse to anyone. Considering the proce of it, you can find much better accommodation from R50 more. Rooms are dark, furniture old. It has a car park, the only good point, as well as a central location. Just in front of Translux Bus stop(to Johannesburg).

Thank you very much for your feedback. I am sorry to see that you felt our facilities were not up to standard, we would have appreciated your opinion on arrival instead of voicing it on a public domain, without giving us the opportunity to rectify the situation while Management is available on the premises at all times. Ok, you are not going here for the lap of luxury, but for a night before you head into Kruger at 6 the next morning it serves the purpose and is very well priced. The rooms are self catering (local places to eat very close) and they are clean and tidy. The staff are great and there is a night... More

I have stayed at African Lily multiple times in the past year or so. I always receive a warm and friendly greeting and enjoy my stays. The rooms are exceptionally large and I always find them very clean. And while I haven't taken advantage of the braai facilities (bbq) they are available. The location is excellent -- close to shopping,... More

Stayed with my family of four for one night and in terms of the rates for the accommodation, African Lily is a good place to stay. The staff, especially Rika, was very helpful and friendly and an assett to the guest house! African Lily has everything you'll need if you are staying over and only a short distance to the... More

Overall impression Acceptable. Staff very friendly. I did not like everything in black or grey. Sets a sombre mood. Bed was squeaking. The TV didn't work. Neighbours had a loud party. Otherwise not to bad. Thank you

Our family of 4 stayed over in African Lily S/C before we entered the Kruger National Park for a few day's vacation. Because of the good rate and the good location it seems to be very popular. The rooms though seem worn down and it needs urgent upgrading. Although the rooms are clean and the kitchen was well equipt, it... More

My family needed to stay overnight in Phalaborwa in connection with a trip to Kruger National Park and we were quite satisfied with our self-catering suite at the African Lily. Management was friendly, the location felt quite safe and our suite was clean and well-equipped. Very good value for money (about US$60 for the unit). The only reason I'm not... More
