Found this hotel 15 min by car from Trondheim. Really nice view over Trondheimsfjorden. The hotel was OK, but have some work to do if they want to make their guests want to come back. Ex. more food too choose in breakfast, check the elevator (the buttons don't work sometime), glass doors or something to stop the water go all... More

This hotel is easy to find as you are driving on E6, north of Trondheim. Good parking. Next to a petrol station. They could have marked the way to the reception better, it is on the 6th floor. This is a hotel where you spend one night, not your holiday. This was the second time we stayed there. Breakfast allright,... More

The rooms are quiet but the interior are pretty basic and dated. Comfortable beds. The breakfast buffet is simple. If you are on the way I would drive a little further and choose another hotel as the price at this hotel is as high as a lot of way better hotels in e.g. Trondheim or Hell.

This hotel is located over the main highway between northern and southern Norway, this makes it great for a relaxing night after a long drive. The hotel looks a bit dated, but everything is in good condition, and the beds make for a good nights sleep. The breakfast is an acceptable size, with enough variation. The people working here are... We stayed there just for one night before leaving by plane - it´s quite near (by the motorway) to the airport. We really enjoyed their offer for an included dinner - they offered very good food. Rooms are clean, bed´s are OK. Don´t miss to drive some kilometer to the camping ground at the sea - you will have a... More

Nice breakfast, alot of norwegian pålegg, the waffel was just okay, but overall the selection is a lot and good :) The room was just okay, it could be improved by having water boiler~ Dinner wasn't buffet, just a set of meal which you can choose from 'dagens'

This hotel is on perfect location if you are exploring Trondheim or for one night stop. It has clean rooms, friendly staff, free parking and Wi-Fi. The evening meal is somehow under average, but not bad. The breakfast was excellent. But the highlight of this hotel is the view from the terrace for watching the romantic sunset.

Spent one night at Stav with my girlfriend before a nine-day-trip into the mountains. The room was clean and nais, but the location next to the E6 entails some noise. The staff were friendly and helpful and the breakfast was good. I recommend this as a Motel if you need a place to crash.

The problem in Norway is that hotels are horribly expensive, even when their standards do not sometimes match their prices. When two friends and I paid 180 euros (!) for a room supposed to accomodate three persons, we expected something decent, if not good. What we were given : a small room with two regular beds operating as a double... More

I wasn't planning to write this review. This is just an ordinary and convenience location hotel. However, after read that poor commends and reviews. I changed my mind. I could like to give some credit for this hotel. First, friend and I booked the hotel for 3 nights, we chose this hotel, because of the good location and very convenience... More
