We had a really nice stay in these lodges. The room was really big and clean. We always had a good breakfast and diner there. The jungle trek was amazing, we got to see several orang utans and other monkeys. Our guide was very friendly and gave us a lot of information. I would certainly stay here again!

The say they are the ecolodge but they are not that eco friendly. The room was very basic and we had to take a shower with cold water. The shower didnt have a lot pressure. The price is overrated. You can have a cheaper and better place. The restaurant is ok. The breakfast doesnt include that much.

They market themself as the 'ecolodge' and they may be eco friendly, but the rooms aren't all that. Cold water showers, dirty bathrooms and doors that don't close entirely . Don't get me wrong, the room is okay, but you could get the same for a lower price!

We stayed here for two nights normally we should stay at eco travel but it was fully booked. The rooms here were simple but totally ok. It was really nice here. There is only cold water at this lodge but as it is always warm outside no problem. The food is great and the restaurant staff very friendly. We could...

The lodge is at the border of the national park, across the river. On the other side is a small authentic village interesting to explore. It has bungalows scattered in a not too big area, each room has a patio on the garden. I had orangutan which was huge for a single traveler. There are mosquito nets on the bed,...

The Ecolodge is beautifull located on the riverside, at the edge of the National Park. You can walk to the batcave in half an hour. We spotted an orang utan in the hotel area. The lodge itself is of good quality, but rather big. A lot of rooms, a lot of guests, a big restaurant, big crew and therefore rather...

Had an amazing time. Room (Siamang bungalow, corner) was basic, but spacious with a nice view of the jungle. Cleanliness could be a little better but it was ok. We loved having the macaque monkeys play on our roof. It kept us awake but so did the other jungle sounds and it was just a great experience. Staff is very...

on the fringe of the jungle, with a few monkeys crashing around outside your room from time to time. bathroom open to the elements...with its own little garden. don't expect hot water...but you don't need it. good restaurant, lovely gardens.... experience the rickety bridge as you walk from the carpark to the hotel

I stayed two nights at this place. It was OK. The room was fine, spacious, clean, etc., nice terrace as well. Staff friendly, food in their restaurant good (although I found it to be a bit western orientated). The only negative I have to mention is the bathroom. Being from Africa, I don’t mind cold water only, but I really...

The Ecolodge is a really nice lodge in Bukit Lawang, and it acts as a really good starting point to explore the National Park. Unfortunately for us, we did not pass too much time there because of a tight schedule, but we appreciated the nice room with the mosquito net. Just pay attention that the bathroom is open on the...
