Spent two nights at the Jungle Inn. It is a beautiful, but rustic hotel in a gorgeous location. We were in a very large honeymoon suite with a large balcony overlooking the river. The restaurant has a very diverse menu and all portions were large and delicious. Customer service was amazing with all the staff doing whatever was needed at the moment. Because the inn is a kilometer from parking, the staff met us with scooters and took us and our luggage to and from the inn through the narrow passage between shops and hotels. We took a 6-hour trek seeing six Orangutan in three different spots and two Thomas’ Leaf Monkeys. One Orangutan and a Leaf Monkey came very close. The guides, Rosie and Inchon (spelling unknown) did a great job helping us where the terrain was steep. The trek ended with a refreshing inner-tube raft ride down the river to the inn.

Our stay at the Jungle Inn in Bukit Lawang was simply wonderful. We were impressed by the service right from the start. Everyone was super friendly and made sure we felt really comfortable.

The food was a real highlight - from local specialties to well-known dishes, everything was super tasty and fresh. We thought it was particularly cool that we could watch the little monkeys that live right next to the hotel playing while we ate.

Our room was surprisingly large and comfortable, perfect for relaxing after a day full of adventure. The location of the hotel, at the end of the village, was ideal. It was nice and quiet, but we were still quickly in the middle of the action. The transport also worked perfectly. The trips directly to the airport and back were super organized and saved us a lot of stress.

An absolute highlight was the trekking tour into the jungle. Our guides, Rozy and Ican, were not only super friendly, but also in a really good mood. Thanks to them, we saw lots of orangutans and other monkeys in the wild. The return trip on the raft down the river was the icing on the cake of an already perfect day.

In short, the Jungle Inn exceeded our expectations. It was the perfect mix of adventure and relaxation, embedded in a beautiful setting. A huge thank you to the whole team for this unforgettable experience!

Can’t say enough good things about Jungle Inn. Perfect location on the river, last guest house. The staff are awesome - friendly, helpful, and they play acoustic guitars and sing each evening and invite others to join. The owner has an artistic flair that shows through in all the details. We did our jungle trek with them and our guides Anto and Bing were fantastic!

This is a well-run jungle lodge. The management and staff are passionate about having happy/satisfied customers and give a caring service delivery. But the main reason to visit is the wildlife, jungle trekking and 'tubing/rafting' down the river! We loved it as a couple heading towards 70 years of age (well, one of us at least - the other not far behind!). Remember this is not first-world economy destination but the lodge operations are of a very good quality, the jungle camps are very basic but a neat night out in the jungle, and the standards of the guides we had was very good.

I did cooking class here with my fiancée. Bronti taught us how to make Rendang and Gado Gado. Delicious 😋 We also had breakfast and enjoyed the incredible views across the river and into the jungle. I would definitely recommend coming here. We’ll be back!

We had a great stay at Jungle Inn! The staff is friendly and very helpful. Everything is well arranged, from transport to food and excursions. The rooms are also nice and provide a great view over the river and jungle. As it is the last hotel on the road it provides unrestricted view and access to the jungle. Thanks to Alde, Intjah, Rosie for arranging our drives and the unforgettable jungle tour. And we especially want to thank Blade for his great kindness. Too many names that we should have remembered, many thanks to the whole crew :) (hope we spelled the names right :))

Great staff, very helpful and a very nice mood and atmosphere.
The food was really delicious too! The front area was also nice.
The rooms are unfortunately very worn. Holes in the mosquito nets and bed sheets. You could really improve a lot with little money.
With the exception of one room, the rooms do not have air conditioning. Some of the rooms have already been renovated. We had a room with an outdoor bathroom!
Other than that, the guys at the Jungle Inn fulfilled every wish!

We stayed here for 2 nights, and also spent several days jungle trekking in between.

The hotel is the last in the long row by the river. Everything was very personal, the staff were all very friendly and accommodating. Alcohol consumption and cigarettes were prohibited on the entire site.

There were three of us and the extra bed consisted of a mattress on the floor. The room was right next to the workshop. It was very dark and that was probably because we only had 2 nights.

As many other rooms were free, we would have been happy if we had at least had a balcony or terrace.

That is the only drawback, but it was the start of our 3 wonderful weeks of vacation.

Conclusion: We were very satisfied!

Located on the edge of the jungle and the river the corner is quiet because it is the end of the road. Possible visit of monkeys. The room and bathroom are huge. The staff is super friendly. Breakfast and meals are good and hearty.

If you are lucky, you can get transport (one-way) for about 300,000 IDR or 30,000 IDR (I can't remmeber). The usual price is about 800K or 80k. One day jungle trek is about 30-40Euros per person without tubing back. Take the tube back, it's fun.
