Had a wonderful time, Lisbeth couldn't have made us feel more welcome, and did everything possible to help us out. Nice comfortable room, and a proper 5 star breakfast! Would definitely go back next time we go down that way!

Fantastic night away, real home from home, Liz was so welcoming and accommodating, breakfast time was flexible and plentiful and of local high quality ingredients. Bedroom and bathroom was size of usual suite, decor was quaint and luxurious. We will be back.

We stayed for one night when attending an event; normally we stay in fairly large, impersonal hotels that give us the freedom to come and go as we please but that isn’t an option in Maldon. We were unsure what to expect not having stayed at a small guesthouse in the UK for an extremely long time but had a...

The position is the top! the house is a very old and interesting construction. Rooms are all different, clean and comfortable. The Lady, Liz, is an interesting person with a strong but nice personality. I get the room on the top, with a nice view for all over and the sunrise on the land. I will never forget that breakfast....

Liza was such a lovely host, nothing was to much trouble for her. The Bell is full of character and was clean . Suited in the middle of the town. Breakfast was great, such a choice of food! Would definitely go back again without doubt!

Located just off Maldon High Street, it is a in a good location for the pubs/bars/restaurants. Room was decent size with ensuite (I was in Room 4). Although if you are tall, the shower is a bit cramped due to the sloping ceiling. Breakfast downstairs was lovely, excellent spread and made to order full English. I would recommend.

This is, in the true meaning of the word, a guest house. You are made to feel very welcome and treated as a guest as opposed to another customer. It is in the heart and beautiful part of Maldon. It is a charming house with very quirky antiquities all around. The breakfast room is without doubt the heart of the...

Lovely building, nice and central in town and a really quiet spot. There are a couple of dogs that the owners have but these dont bark when you use the visitors entrance, so I didn't really hear them at all in my stay. I stayed in a nice twin room with my brother and it was a nice, quaint and...
