I personally like tours that ain't mass market. While the weather didn't quite hold up, I truly enjoyed the 5-6 hours with my guide Anna. She drove us to less travelled places with great vistas. And my goodness .. the lunch was a simple but possibly the most yummy bacalao (fish stew using cured cod) I have ever eaten. Really...

He showed us many beautiful spots , including ocean, bridge, fjords, waterfall, lakes, seashore, Deer, wild garden. Within 6 hours, we are exciting by the beautiful Fjord. every thing is well organised, coffee break and waffles are perfect for a morning...

We were met at the TI and then driven throughout the beautiful fjord, stopped for a midday snack of waffles and brown cheese and then finished with a delicious fish stew with fresh bread at the end of the day. All this was narrated by our superb guide, Anna Lukaszek. She is a delightful young woman who is very knowledgeable.

We really enjoyed our stay in cottage 1. It was warm and cosy and well equipped. We were collected at the airport and dropped at a supermarket to stock up with supplies (there is no shop in the village). This all went smoothly. We were incredibly lucky and were treated to an amazing aurora show visible from all over the...

It was simply amazing! First, I was a bit sceptical since I only found one review of the car tour on tripadvisor. But now, I can only recommend you this tour! Our driver - Bjornar - was super nice. He has shown us few beautiful spots and took some nice pictures of us as well. We were travelling in a...

I turned out to be the only one on the tour that night to chase the northern lights here - was rather apprehensive about it at first. But later on that night, I saw the most amazing lights and it filled the entire sky - danced across the starry night sky. I met some lovely German women that were spending...

We had a wonderful time on the Discover the fjords of Kvaløya by car trip. Our guide Bjornar Hansen was fantastic, so friendly and accommodating. He had great local knowledge as took us to the best spots for whale watching on Kvaloya. Within 5 minutes we had seen a Sea Eagle, Killer Whales and Humpback whales. The trip just kept...

We spent a wonderful short break in cottage 1 and in the space of 3 nights saw the northern lights overhead, orca whales in the fjord in view of the cottage and experienced a breathtaking storm. The cottage is very cosy and was ideal for three adults; more than enough space to relax. Well equipped and has a good ground...

We booked the evening activity "Northern lights at Ersfjord" ...Very disappointing...The location (ersfjordbotn) is great, amazing fjord and coming from Tromso you arrive at the back end of it so you see it in its whole length...but actually the spot where we stop for this activity (his office and home) is on the north side heading...south...(you have view west and...

I signed up for this tour well In advance before my trip. However I learned that when it comes to the northern lights it's such a gamble to reserve anything more than 3 days I'm advance. I went on this tour knowing that we would not be able to see the lights. For 950 kroner it is a hefty amount...
