My partner and I had an absolutely fantastic stay in the Buckingham Cottage back in September. It was a true home-from-home. Very relaxing and it really felt you were on holiday! The cottage had everything we needed for self-catering and more. The owners were so welcoming. Only a short drive to local attractions. We are already planning to return in... More

I stayed with 25 of us in total, celebrating my 50th birthday, the ages ranged from 8 months to 54 years old. Everything was wonderful, the kitchens had absolutely everything you could need for cooking for that amount. It's peaceful and has some beautiful walks around. The owners are lovely and accommodating and left us to get on with it.... More

We had an enjoyable stay at The Farmhouse in July 2015. Its well equiped - everything you'd need in the kitchen for a large party, plenty of space,a good selection of games and newish dvds if needed. There are four good sized, nice double bedrooms on the first floor, and two twin rooms in attic space that are more suitable... More

We have just spent 4 nights at the beautiful Lancombes House out in the English countryside. This is an ideal place to get away from the every day hustle and bustle of life. The grounds are lovely, the cottage is clean and quiet, and the owners are so friendly. We did day trips to Stonehenge, Salisbury and The Jurassic Coast.... More

Last February my husband & I had two nights away in the glorious Dorset countryside. It was Buckingham Cottage at Lancombes House, West Milton. I can wholeheartedly recommend it for anyone wishing to get away - and I do mean get away! The cottage is in a wonderful remote spot and Jenny has thought of everything for visitors. Nothing is... We stayed here for two nights over the weekend and found it to be, ok. We stayed in Tanglewood and, yes it's big, yes it does have an unusual layout which the kids found interesting. The kitchen is well equipped and there is a large dining table in the dining area. I wouldn't say the place was dirty but I... More

We stayed here last weekend and booked into Tanglewood. There were 8 adults 3 children and 3 babies. It was everything we could have asked for and more. The owners were wonderful, from point of enquiry to helping us settle in. The cottage itself has a very unusual layout, lots of nooks & crannies and the bedrooms spread out. The... More

A group of 19 of us stayed here in the Farmhouse cottage and in Buckingham cottage, both were beautifully furnished for a very comfortable stay in the country. The kitchen and living room provided two great areas for everyone to come together to wine and dine and play games. The bedrooms were all finished to a high standard with very... More

10 of us stayed in Tanglewood Cottage at the end of July to celebrate my twin sisters 50th birthdays. The unique layout of the house provided rooms to suit us all......there is one bedroom on ground level but you need to be prepared for a quirky stair layout to get to the other bedrooms! Having spent our childhood holidays down... More

We have just spent a fantastic weekend in "Tanglewood Cottage" at Lancombes House celebrating my Dad's 70th Birthday with extended family. There was 8 adults and 2 kids and the property could not have been any more suited to the group. With bathrooms on every floor, a fantastically quirky layout (which kept the kids very well amused) and spacious and... More
