I have just been reading some of the terrible reviews and cannot believe that Chris Greengrass is still there as manager. Have just returned from Aloha Gardens booked through Brittany Ferries as one of their winter break hols. Never again. He sent me an email offering me a 10% discount should we wish to stay there again but I suggested he could give us this as a compensation payment. We put up with constant banging and crashing from workmen replacing kitchens and bathrooms in properties 2 doors away from ours. The house walls are so thin it was as if they were working in ours. Apparently they were supposed to be tiling and that was all. They started at 8.00am and finished at 9.00pm. I mentioned this to him and his reply was that they were contracted from 9/10am until 5.00pm. He said he went home at 5 so he didn't care. In his reply to my email to him he said he offered us a move but we said no. I may be getting on in years but my memory is excellent and I do not recall that. The security man confused our car with another English car and thought that we were parking in the wrong bay. We sorted this with him but when I mentioned this to Mr Greengrass he said the Security men were nothing to do with him and he was probably bored as he had nothing else to do. The house itself was very tired with sub standard furniture. The kitchen, although well appointed with appliances was lacking in basic equipment. The oven had no rack inside, there were insufficient saucepans for preparing a meal for 2 let alone 4, and one cupboard was out of use due to the extractor fan being in the way. The towels and beds were not changed once during our stay and we were there for 2 weeks. I knew this before I went but I still think this is unacceptable. They state in their brochure that Aloha Gardens is built like a Spanish village on several levels and is not suitable for people with mobility problems. They mention steps but not flights of stairs. For us to get to the swimming pool was 4 flights. Fortunately for us the weather was so awful we could not use the pool anyway. There were 10 steps to get through the security gate, a further flight of 17 steps to get to our house and 2 more flights to get to the car park. Actually the best part of Aloha Gardens is the free parking in a specified bay for your property in a covered car park. Mr Greengrass thinks we had exceptional value for money. I would like to say it was so exceptional that we will never stay there again. His attitude is appalling and his don't care policy seems to be his way of life. The office is open very few hours but I was informed that this was due to "Covid". Hopefully if you do decide to stay there you have no problems or need any help.

We have stayed here on at leat 10 previous occasions, however this time we could only say a maximum of one night due to the disgusting condition of the 3 bedroom apartment. DO NOT STAY IN THIS PLACE!! It is advertised as 4 star accommodation on Expedia and other places, however in reality it would struggle to be given an official 1 star. Student accommodation is far better and cleaner. WARNING very suspect "stains" on the settees and lounge chairs, broken dining table, kitchen in desperate need of being ripped out and replacing with clean unbroken cupboards, bathrooms need MOULD and RUST removing and pubic hairs cleaned before guests arrive... and also a good idea to repair / replace floor tiles at top of stairs before a holidaymaker trips and breaks their neck!!! However according to Chris the manager " you get what you pay for"!! He even stated that this is not a 4 star complex but a 2 key ... so if you are fooled into staying here don't be paying more than £10 per night and the photographer needs an award for their highly creative portrail of this place! STRONGLY RECOMMEND YOU READ RECENT TRIPADVISOR AND OTHER REVIEWS BEFORE WASTING YOUR MONEY!!!

Apartments are basic, clean and have access to lovely gardens and various pools. The complex is well located next to bars and restaurants, and for venturing into Puerto Banus and Marbella. Customer service was excellent, and nothing was too much trouble. From ensuring we took the right tunnel, had 8 plates, knew the gate code (again and again and again), sorting the wifi and finding medical care for an eye injury. We will definitely be back! x

Do not trust this company, paid extra for free cancellation before a certain date. Refused and claimed they have never done it however will give you a credit back if you pay in full (more likely will pocket all your money) I sent pictures providing evidence of their cancellation policy with what I booked and called them out on it, have never responded to numerous emails.

So where do I start…. JUNE 2020, I was supposed to visit with 6 friends for a little break with the girls! due to the “GLOBAL” pandemic both Spain and the UK were on lockdown. Which also meant both airports were closed. Initially I asked for a refund and was rudely declined NO by the so called “manager” Chris GREEN GRASS who also stated it wasn’t his fault that I couldn’t fly to Spain! I think he was implying the pandemic was my fault! Because of this He felt he had no need to refund me. After lots of emails back and fourth, Chris finally agreed to let us rebook…. HOWEVER at an extra €660! JOKE! I waited a few weeks and made a call to the reservations department who quoted me the exact price already paid for 2021! Funny that! I took the reference number which they kept on the system and emailed Chris. He had no words for trying to rip me off and agreed to let us rebook and the same cost! Well….. 2 weeks before we were due to fly out I emailed Chris again asking to delay our hotel till later in the year or again same dates but for next year… EasyJet had cancelled our return flight and changed our outbound flight times. I explained members of our party would not be able to isolate on return due to our jobs, NHS and Civil service workers. Our government are still advising essential travel only as Spain is still in Amber. I was told No and was given Chris’s view on the UKs handling of the pandemic and how he thought “there is no problem here, you are able to get here so I will not allow a rebook for any later dates” Chris is extremely rude! The worst customer service I’ve ever experienced. Reading other reviews it seems I’m not the only person to experience his poor attitude and bad practice. I emailed both aloha gardens and Chris everyday starting 14 days before what should of been of our departure date. I had 2 replys back! He had ignored me for 10 days, I believe Chris controls all the email addresses for the apartment. Aloha gardens, please get rid of your manager he is a disgrace. I suggest you use my money you refused to pay me back and sort him a customer service course!

Do not book a holiday with this hotel Aloha Gardens. We were due to visit yet due to COVID and the current quarantine conditions are unable to make it. They have been nothing but rude and disgusting and won’t assist trying to rebook for a later date or receive a refund! Their attitude is more about how our government are doing things wrong rather than allowing us to rebook for my sisters hen do. The manager Chris should not be a manger on the front line of a customer service business. About to lose nearly £800 which shouldn’t be acceptable in this current world pandemic.

Don’t book this apartment when you want to have a good relaxed vacation. Apartments are not clean. In the night there is a lot of noise and the service is really bad when you say something about it!!!!

You should pass many stairs for any move, very hard to carry luggages during check-in and check-out. The rooms smell hell terrible, materials are lowest quality, everything is old and damaged. especially during covid-19 pandemic stay far from this compressed complex. if you have a child it is very dangerous to use the rooms with stairs . old bathrooms, cheapest available soap in the WC and..... in total never come back here and never offer it to someone else. stay far from it.

Aloha Gardens: My family and I did not like it, we were disappointed it for the following reasons: 1- It is a residence compound with no services at all, it is not a resort! 2- It is on a hill with too many steps "stairs" you have to go up to reach your unit. 3- Car park: we had to pay 20 Euro per night ! even though I asked for a free car park ? 4- In side the unit> the living area and the kitchen is on Ground floor, the bedrooms are on the upper floor, to go there you have again to use the long stairs. 5- Only ONE bathroom serving two bedrooms! 6- Bedrooms are too simple one has a simple double bed with a wall wardrobe, the second has two simple single beds wit a wall wardrobe. 7- All floors are not carpeted, in bedrooms and in Living room down stair. 8- Location is terrible, nothing you can enjoy. 9- The reception has limited working hours, and even when they are there they do not provide any service! We had a terrible time to check in because the reception was closed. We will never go back there, never recommend it.
