Another great visit for the second year. Again could not fault any of the staff in reception very welcoming and was remembered from the previous year. Caravan Weybridge 2 could not fault again had everything you require to make a lovely dinner, after a relaxing pre dinner drink in club house. Again bar staff so welcoming. So looking forward to seeing you all next year in October.

Stayed in a Truro premier lodge with hot tub Found our accommodation to be wonderful Lovely location , very clean lodge with lots space and very dog friendly We could happily live in one of these lodges but in August price is about 6 times higher The hot tub was a huge incentive for us and we used frequently All the staff are very friendly and helpful We ate twice in restaurant and had drinks in the bar / all good - prices were average Swimming pool was very nice but restrictive when you could go Lots of other activities if you have. Children All in all a lovely weeks holiday in great location with friendly staff Suggestions to improve more ; A gate on lodge would have been nice to make a bit safer for dogs Although very spacious no drawers in lodges / would have been handy Give adults more swimming time - at least an hour a morning instead of half would be nice

When traveling to piran meadows on the way down the car broke down! myself and my family turned up at piran meadows on the Monday and wow the staff Jen,Paul and Amy were fantastic let us check in earlier then planned, The lodge we stayed in was amazing we had everything we had got tub was amazing the cover needed a new one but compared to our start of our week that really wasn't the top priority, on the day we checked out on our lodge the staff gave us an extension of checking out once we got the car park 5 days later we checked into a caravan for another 2-3 days and The staff which is mentioned above went to above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed, food was amazing restaurant was really good kids 8 and 9 year old enjoyed the park, Arcade, bowling and even had a game of pool! I couldn't recommend this site enough, we had the best time relaxed and the best the car got us home! Perfect February half term time away! Plus the lady at the swimming she was fabulous too,Amy Paul Jen were amazing especially with my son who has Autism and ADHD.Thankyou again

Wonderful site which we visited for half-term. From our arrival to departure I can honestly say I found precious little to 'complain' about. We got to the site a couple of hours before 'check-in' but the reception staff could not have been more helpful and welcoming and, as soon as our unit was ready, they called us. Given we were a group of 17, we were able to spend the evenings together in the bar/bistro. We did all eat on our last night and that's the ONLY element of our break that caused 'a whinge'. Portion sizes were disappointing. That said, the fact kids eat free brought the 'price' into less conflict. Id recommend this site to anyone and everyone. There's lots do do 'on-site' and with the likes of Newquay, Truro and Perranporth a short drive, trips out were also a pleasure. Yes, 100% recommendation this site.

I stayed here with my family for half term week and we all had a wonderful stay. There were 17 of us altogether spread across the holiday park in 4 different accommodations. Myself, my daughter, my parents and their dog found our Wadebridge lodge to be very comfortable and spacious. It was well equipped with everything you could need in the kitchen. The rooms were a good size and the beds were very comfy. I’ve read the previous reviews and feel that the lack of mattress protectors for the person who reviewed last, was an oversight on changeover day as all of our beds had mattress protectors and the pillows also had protectors. Before arriving at Piran Meadows, myself and my family were unsure of how we would spend our evenings as we are used to visiting holiday camps with onsite evening entertainment. It’s true that there isn’t any evening entertainment as such here in the sense of acts and bingo etc. We were all still able to meet every evening in the ‘clubhouse’. We were able to have drinks and the children were able to safely play until late in the soft play, arcades and bowling area. We even put on our own quiz one evening and all congregated in the bar area to do it. We had two dogs in our party and they were allowed into the clubhouse. They just weren’t allowed in the bistro part which is understandable. We ate in the bistro on our last evening and the overall thoughts were that the food was average. The kids meal portions were brilliant though and kids ate free with a paying adult so that made it even better. We enjoyed swimming whilst there. I’ve read previous reviews about the lifeguard and feel that again that must have been a one off as on our stay the lifeguards were brilliant. Yes, one was hot on their whistle but it was warranted and he was just doing his job. I’d rather they were like that and know that they were watching well for the safety of everyone there. The park itself was very clean. The outside play areas were brilliant. I would definitely recommend staying here. Our party’s ages ranged from 4-65. Advice: the accommodations have dvd players so make sure you pack some or you can hire them from the clubhouse but if I remember rightly, the charge was £4.99- so much cheaper to take your own. Take some cash with you for the arcades- there isn’t a cash machine on site. There is a change machine in the arcade to swap notes for £1 coins. Bowling costs £2 per player per game. You can have up to 8 players on one lane, I was told. In the arcade you’ll find driving games- £1 per play, air hockey- £1 per play, grabber machines- 50p per play or 3 plays for £1, a golden egg grabber machine- egg caught every time with an animal phone charm like toy inside- £1 a go, a Minecraft game machine plus more. Book activities early- we missed out on a lot of activities because they were fully booked very quickly. Book swimming early too as this also gets booked up. There is a viewing window for those who would rather watch. I hope this review helps anyone thinking of booking. Don’t be mislead by previous reviews. We’d booked before reading the reviews and then were apprehensive about our stay but we honestly had a great time and would definitely return. Just to add, all of the staff were brilliant and happy to help.

What a great holiday! Not a fan of caravans personally but we were so happy with piran meadows. The van was so clean for a dog friendly, we even slept sound in the beds which are usually our main problem! They were so comfy! I would advise to take your own mattress protector as they don't use them but that's the only bad point. Kitchens spacious and living room fine, we took our fire stick from home and had no problem streaming, WiFi buffered once the whole week we were there during bad weather so if kids want to take gaming stations or pads go for it as the Internet is fab. The site itself was very clean, tidy and mostly quiet. Didn't rate the food on site, bit tasteless and over priced for what it is, the golf simulator is no longer there like advertised which my other half was unhappy about. That's my only 2 gripes about the whole place, overall it was a lovely week away and my little one loved it. The Darwin escapes go active team were FANTASTIC. Lots of activities throughout the day, and I highly recommend the pool party. The most fun we've had in ages, at one point, i think the adults were enjoying it more than the kids lol! The staff got so involved, one ending up in the pool, he went from dunking adults with freezing water to being really gentle and playful with the younger kids as so not to scare them, Brill! In a great location, 15 mins drive to main town newquay with lots to do arcades, beaches, pubs, restruants, bakerys etc! Newquay is a great dog friendly place we took our pup to most places with us which was great! Pub down the road called the two clomes, amazing food, you get what you pay for... So don't be put off by some of the reviews you see because some people are just Karen's. Had a lovely stay and would return again. Travelled as a family age ranging from 5 - 70.

Dear Guest, Thank you so much for taking the time to leave the resort your fab review, All the team at Piran work hard to make your stay as memorable as possible, and it sounds like we did it. Sorry about the golf sim, it wasn't working for the resort anymore, so it was taking away last year, ill get the team to look into the adverting. There should have been mattress protectors on all the beds so this must have been an oversight, apologise. ill have a catch up with house keeping team to remind them. We hope to see you all again soon, Warmest Regards The Piran Meadows Team.

We've been years ago and the experience was really properly lovely. Location is central to lots of activities with a car. Site is well kept and pool and sports courts/ pitches great. Otherwise: - No welcome drink or suitcase tin gift on arrival as previously. - Swimming pool annoyingly needs to be pre booked. The caravan feels kept to a standard just on the line where you wouldn't complain. - Chairs are depressing durge brown instead of the advertised clean bright colours. The sofa cushions pancake flat. - Slight stale, fried food smell. - The bedding is basic. Feels cold. Booked a 6th berth for four of us and only four beds made up so had to make up two beds ourselves to use the extra duvets to be warm. - Greasy food embedded in the sides of the oven. - No free toiletries. - Very noisy clanging ringing heating system - loud enough to wake you up in the night with a thermostat that says it turns off every ten hours. - Curtains that don't block light so it's like having a night light on. It's the sort of caravan that makes you think about going home. We got a cheap deal but I think we're paying about the right rate for what we have. Definitely wouldn't have booked here if I'd have known. Won't be coming again.

Dear Guest, Thank you so much for taking the time to leave the resort your feed back. The resort stopped given out welcome tins 12-18 month ago and like all other operators have been looking at complimentary items, to cut down on our carbon foot print. Had you popped over to reception we could have looked at your concerns with the housekeeping and maintenance team in regards of extra bedding and heating operations. We are disappointed that you have suggested you will not be return, we will share your feed back with the team. Warmest Regards
