Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Very clean place, with great staff all around. Hot showers, swimming pool, clean room with mosquito net. Amazing food, we really enjoyed our stay during our safari. We had a great night with Abdul who has great English and was great company to have for the night and we hope to see him and the fig tree again in the future.

Everyone at Fig tree is very nice and accommodating. Our room had a comfy bed and a private bathroom with a warm water shower that lasted long enough for two people. The grounds are lovely with a little shop, big pool, and lots of greenery. Very conveniently located close to Tarangire.

Very friendly staff with clean and comfortable rooms. Fan in room was great! Mosquito nets worked well, and the pool looked amazing, although we did not have time to use it. Overall, would stay again!

Spent 2 nights there during a group safari. Nice place to stay. Clean, quiet, tasty food, relaxing pool area, friendly and always helpful staff. Warmest thanks especially to Pia, who showed us around, to Abdul who took time after work to tell us more about Tanzania and to Susan, who made us laugh with funny sayings.

I spent a night here as a base stop during our safari and was great!! The personal are so kind. The chef took care about us, doing our dinner and breakfast so special. Also Susan she was so nice and polite. We supposed to sleep in the camp (as we pay the cheapest option), and what a surprise when we I arrive to the FIG tree they gave as a bedroom !!! We slept in a bed with private bathroom instead a tent!!
