Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Wonderful stay with my family. Quiet and peaceful. Food very good for both breakfast and dinner. Entertainment enjoyed and staff very friendly. Luxury tents are worth it but all accommodation was discussed as a good nights rest. Nice to get a long hot shower after a day on safari. No bug bites and good screens around beds just in case.

We were booked to this lodge by our tour operator .We stayed in the lodge for two day while on our way for Safari. The place is very beautiful with mini forests like vibes with some monkeys roaming around and the staff were nice. However, the mosquitoes net in the room were torn, the lunch box package we got were substandard, the swimming pool was very dirty .

Booked by tour company as part of safari. Considering it is in on the outskirts of a rural town in northern Tanzania, it is quite extraordinary! (of course it can't be compared to an international hotel chain in a city) Lovely peaceful grounds with grass and trees. Clean. Room was spacious and tastefully decorated with murals. Mosquito net around bed. Mosquito coil and matches available. Comfortable bed. Well-functioning bathroom. Good shower, with strict instructions to turn on water 5 minutes before hot water would come. Unfortunately windows did not close properly (not a big problem), but front door locked well. Fly screens on windows. Small veranda with chair. Approximately 100 meter walk to dining room. Free wifi at dining room only. Swimming pool (but I didn't use it) Would have been nice to have an extra chair in the room. Overall, a very comfortable place to stay.

We have spent two nights here, which was great fun, pleasant staff taking care of our needs. And especially the music night was good, one might find it a bit “tourist amusement “ but the music was surprisingly good especially the “ marimba “ and percussion. The pool could have been more appealing by cleaning it properly.

We had a great visit at this lodge. The staff was very accommodating and friendly. The lodge was very cosy and clean. The beds were great and there are lenta of sounds from the nature waking up in the morning. We visited several lodges on our trip in Tanzania and this was the best.

We stayed in the lodge chalet for one night. The chalet has two twin beds and a double bed with ensuite and hot water. Dinner is buffet styled. Food is good. There is a traditional dance and acrobatic performance after dinner. Next morning breakfast, we have yoghurt, pancake, omelette, bread with jam & butter and fruits. Its quite a good bresakfast. Mr Jabil, the lodge manager who warmly welcome us and he is there to say farewell too. A great place to stay.

Great overnight stay here. We stayed in the tent and it was cozy and clean. Shower was hot with good pressure. Food was good. We were the only guests but there was a full staff to help us and they were very accommodating. Good wifi in the common area. Pool could use a cleaning but we still enjoyed it on a hot day! We felt safe and comfortable there. Thank you!!

We were accommodated in the double tent and enjoyed it more than the cottages. beds were comfortable , bathroom new and revamped. Food as usual was local fare, tasty, well presented. Cold crisp Serengeti beer available . Breakfast was a nice surprise as on previous trips had no time for an early meal. the chef presented the eggs as requested, fresh juice, decent coffee and selections of cocoa/Africacafe. Pool beds were in evidence, water a little low but during this time of year, it is too cold for a dip. I would definitely return.
