If luxury means perfection, Shoal Bay Villas are the ultimate luxury in its most simple form. It is the luxury to enjoy the perfection of nature's beauty , great comfort and service without the useless chichi of luxury resorts that actually spoil beauty.
I am currently on my way home from Shoal Bay Villas we just left 6 hours ago and I am so sad! It was gorgeous...we stayed in two ocean front rooms one was a studio which was just great and the other was the new...More
My boyfriend and I booked at SBV for 4 nights while attending a wedding in Anguilla. Though some of the reviews are negative, don't let this bother you as it really is a slice of paradise. Simple, clean, island style accommodations, superb location, exceptional staff...More

I have only flown in to St. Maarten. It is pretty easy to get to the Ferry in Marigot, which runs every 45 minutes. Shoal Bay Villas has no restaurant, but there are choices along the beach. None of them are a very far walk. As for groceries and drinks for your room. No place for this. Two recommendations. 1. Get a rental car 2. If you don't get a rental car stop and shop for groceries on your way to the Villas. The first time we went to Shoal Bay Villas we did not have a rental car and we did fine; mostly because we met a wonderful couple from Alabama who showed us around and took us back into town for groceries. We now get a rental car. Though if you just want to crash on the beautiful beach and unplug, getting what you need on the way in works.

I saw some SBV pics yesterday from the Anguilla beaches site that showed some flooding and sand in the area in the walkway area to the beach. No word from Kathy and staff as I think no cell service and power. power lines down everywhere. resorts are mostly intact but plenty of damage to houses. They received some help from British military yesterday. Twitter has had some info. Kenroy Herbert has posted videos and anguilla beaches posts them. some wood structures are demolished like Pumphouse, Elvis's, Palm Grove, Smoky's, sunshine shack. Heartbreaking. fund-raising info on Anguilla beaches.
