Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

A wonderful place, filled with history and authenticity. The food was amazing and the room was spacious and unique. A pretty good SPA, not too crowded. Just a minor suggestion - a coffee machine in the room would have been perfect :)

We had a delightful stay at Castle Hotel Daniel. The food was delicious and the surroundings were simply splendid. During our visit, we were fortunate enough to spot a bear, two majestic eagles, a playful fox, and the charming company of horses, cows, and sheeps. And, of course, their adorable cat mascot added a special touch to the experience. Don't miss the nearby Geological Complex of Racoş with its captivating attractions like the Extinct Volcano, the Emerald Lake, the intriguing Basalt Columns, and the historic Sükösd-Bethlen Castle. It was an unforgettable experience!

This is one of the best places I've ever been to. The room/apartment was spacious and clean, with lots of light. The food was very good and I liked the staff. The whole place offers peace and quiet, all the more if you go to the spa, which is located in the former cellar. I appreciate the attention to details.

We were impressed with the hotel and hotel restaurant staff. Very friendly, always there when we needed them, they made our stay extremely pleasant. The menu is affordable in terms of price and the food was very tasty. The hotel grounds look very nice and unfortunately we did not have time to enjoy the sauna and massage services. The room we stayed in is spacious and has the charm of old times.

From the beggining we were very warm welcomed by the friendly staff, always there to help with every request. The castle is simply amazing, we stayed in Constantinople room and it felt out of this world to know that we are staying in a real and very old castle. The restaurant is great and they have very good food! Also tasty wines and great dessert! We also enjoyed the wonderful spa, it’s a must try if you stay at the castle. We had an amazing experience staying there (the staff also reccommended us where to get the best Kürtőskalács in the area) and we hope to get back soon!

A beautiful and relaxing place. Quality services. Exceptional cuisine, good wines. A unique Spa in a former cellar. We enjoyed every evening a fire made in the fireplace in the great hall in the main building.
