We love the Daniel Castle's Gate Room where the sunlight emphasize the vivid color of the old brick arches offering an original atmosphere, as well the Castle's secret room. Both rooms offers 5 stars amenities and comfort while the cozy furniture and fireplace match perfectly the old style of the Castle. In Cellarium SPA we found 3 hidden gems (the floating area with chill music and the 2 of the most interesting fountains with alternative hot and ice water. The personnel was very helpful and found solutions to accommodate our reservations requests and organized visits to local craftsmen (painter of wood furniture, blacksmith, weaver). In the fields next to the Castle we have spotted a family of deer, while 2 stork families were nesting on the Castle chimneys. We will definitely come back to this heavenly Castle.

The beautifully restored castle offers stunning rooms, exceptional service, and a truly peaceful atmosphere. The staff is warm and welcoming, ensuring every detail is perfect. The spa is simply amazing, offering moments of well deserved relaxation. The on-site restaurant serves delicious local cuisine, making the stay even more special. At first, we thought of taking only the spa treatments there, but in the end, we booked an amazing weekend at the castle which we didn't regret. The place is amazing, a renovated castle from old times brought to life by a handful of nice and creative people who managed to revive the place with a modern touch, keeping the historical beauty. Each room is a work of art, and each activity you do is like anything you haven't experienced before. From the amazing breakfast of delicious local treats, culminating with a luxurious underground spa which you can never forget :) There is much more to say but I would spoil the delight of being there... I will put some not-so-commercial pics, just with some personal touches that I found nice to keep.

We were impressed with the hotel and hotel restaurant staff. Very friendly, always there when we needed them, they made our stay extremely pleasant. The menu is affordable in terms of price and the food was very tasty. The hotel grounds look very nice and unfortunately we did not have time to enjoy the sauna and massage services. The room we stayed in is spacious and has the charm of old times.

I warmly recommend to anyone! Kind, smiling staff. Cleanliness grade 10. At the restaurant, the menu is varied, the food is tasty, the service is impeccable. We had the goulash soup, the onion cream soup, the duck leg, the chicken with carrot and lentil puree, and the cream cheese for dessert . We were not accommodated, but we were allowed to visit the castle. I give 5 stars, well deserved. Thank you!

It is a beautiful old manor and it was beautifully renovated. We wanted to try several rooms and we were amazed by the Constantinople room with actual old frescos on the wall. We enjoyed the spa and believe it is amazing that it was built in the cellar! They rent bikes and give you good advice about surrounding activities. Beautiful area! On the minis side, it is very expensive for Romania, and at this price they really should not charge extra for spa access.

Nice and quiet location, with a flavor of Transylvanian history. Perfect for relaxing , at just 1 hr from Brasov. The restaurant is very good, offering a tasty reinterpretation of traditional food. In the castle cellar was installed a very complete SPA, much above my expectations (pool, jacuzzi, water massage, sauna etc) But above all are the large smiles of ALL employees, which are offering very good services. Thank you!

Been here in december just for one night, but having in mind the restrictions all over the country, it was enough.
Chose the hotel due to its spa, which is just marvelous. Inner pool, jacuzzi, sauna and other facilities. It was absolutely magnificent.
Stayed in room 8, the one with the murals, cozy bed, looks great, but if you are not comfortable with a bath instead of a shower cabin and right to the bed, then try to make an effort while staying there. The rooms are well refurbished and look good, but it is not a 5 star hotel. It is a castle, very well kept by the owners.
The restaurant with not so many choices, but enough for our taste, is small and the food tastes great. We had reinterpreted polenta, onion soup (not the french recipe, in case you expect that) and some other things. The breakfast will please you having in mind that they serve a lot of food.
The garden looks extremely well, and maybe during a warmer season it is a good choice to just relax and breath in the fresh air.
You should try it! It is an unique adventure!

Excellent service, food, breakfast and à la carte menu. The location is close to tourist attractions - Kalnoky castle, inactive volcano, basalt columns, smarald lake - all absolutely worth visiting. Spa available. Tours can be organized.

A perfect location to walk and to discover the surrounding area which is full history and nice landscapes. I really appreciate the atmosphere of Daniel Castle, the variety of very tasty traditional food and last but not least the personnel hospitality. Thanks for making my seat here very nice.
