We stopped at this hotel on 2 occasions during our road trip around Morocco. Both times, the service was slow. The second time, however, we ordered some tea as we were exhausted from a long drive. 20 minutes later, the tea still wasn't there and of the 5 people standing around the counter, not one cared to come and tell... I've stayed at this hotel three times. It's always comfortable. It has a pool and a bar and large reception area decorated with geodes. The bathroom and room are both nice. The restaurant is pretty good too. The only major drawback is that the wifi doesn't really work.

Like another reviewer, we also stopped just for lunch on our from Merzouga to Fez. Our guide highly recommended the trout, and we were not disappointed! It really was a treat - prepared very well, and a welcome change from tagine and kabob most places!

This hotel is good for one night in order to break the journey between the Sahara and Fez. The rooms r just ok, breakfast is full of carbs, wifi only in the lobby ( and very slow). But the owner is very nice and welcoming, the guy that helps with the suitcases is cheeky wanting not only tips but also... More

We stopped here for lunch on our way to Fez. What a find!! We entered a very spacious foyer and were led to the dining room which was really large and well lit with a great view of the snow-capped, mid Atlas mountains. We ordered grilled trout (a local speciality) with vegetables and beef kebabs. Both were EXCELLENT. I think,... More

Stayed one night as part of a tour group. Check in was efficient and hotel is very clean -someone always seems to be cleaning something! Quite cold though, huge fireplaces but only one lit was the dining room. WiFi only available in the lobby unfortunately and is slow, but don't forget it is in the middle of next to nowhere.... More

We spent the last day of the year in this hotel and it was not a pleasant experience. The room was not clean (hair everywhere), no wifi in the rooms, but only in the hall which was very cold. We had dinner with a supposed special menu which was disappointing, and also breakfast was poor.

There aren't many options for reasonable standard hotels in Medilt (or nearby towns) so you are stuck with this tired large hotel which is a midpoint to the desert and Gorges areas beyond Midilt. A lot of things in our room (which was a reasonable size and clean) were in need of repair including the TV which simply refused to... More
