Our room was not as we had reserved (double instead of a twin). Carpet was filthy, needed replacing. TheBathroom had rust around the bath taps together with mold around the sealant and the shower screen could not be moved to allow easy access to the shower over the bath. The journey from the room to the rest of the hotel...

We stopped of for lunch quite by chance at the Swan. What a great find , we sat by the river where it flows out of lake Windermere , beautiful garden furniture , willow trees kissing the water , moored boats bobbing at their moorings , Swans gliding by and glorious sunshine and plenty of free parking in the hotel...

The food was well priced and expertly cooked. The service was top class too as nothing was too much trouble. Would recommend without hesitation. If you're...

We were a bit disappointed in this hotel unfortunately - our night's stay was pricey for the room which was clean but uninspiring - though we did enjoy a nice swim, steam and sauna in the morning before we left. The room was volcanically hot all night despite our efforts with the A/C. We arrived late so ate in the...

We had requested a travel cot which was all made up for us. There was also the option for evening milk and cookies for...

We stopped here on the way back from Scotland for a couple of nights with our 4 & 1 year olds. The hotel is wonderfully finished, with nice rooms and well thought out decor. The pool area is lovely for both adults and kids. The food in the evening is great. They made special effort for the children then we...
