Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

This was our 8th year returning to the glorious hills of Brocklands Farm Glamping. And the 8th visit was just as good as the first. The tents are extremely comfortable and I'm always impressed with how cosy the beds are - excellent mattresses and the softest linen. I slept like a dream! We enjoyed some lovely local walks: a short stroll to the local pub, The Thomas Lord, and a longer walk to Old Winchester Hill and the surrounding trails. Loads of walking / running options in the area. I'm always so impressed by the little touches that Buffy (the host) adds to the tents, like the delicious lemon drizzle cake, herbs on the decking and providing basics like milk, bread, butter, oil, tea, coffee, salt + pepper. This year we even had a friendly Kestrel fledgling hang by the tent which provided us with hours of entertainment. Thank you so much to Buffy and the team for all your efforts. We'll see you again next year :)

Last week we had a wonderfull stay at the glamping of the Brocklands farm. We enjoyed the views, the silence, the wildlife, the stars... The children had a amasing time at the rope swing. The accomodation was top. Back home we wondered why we have so much white walls :-). And with a visit at Winchester, Portsmouth, Paultons park and Queen Elizabeth Country Park there's so much to do around here. And than I forget all the small silence paths to take magnificent walks.

Beautiful views in a very tranquil glamping experience. Beware of the badger….Decent BBQ location great for a sausage burger etc etc. First night there Have never seen so many stars in one place at one time my brain felt like a imploding hamster in a microwave. Local boozer worth a look at very nice garden and decent grub and stone baked pizza. Local village also very very cute and freindly enough people not what you would expect being so close to Portsmouth everybody and I mean everybody had full set of teeth and right amount of fingers (and I don’t the mean biscuits) Cozy bed enjoyed it there also. Sharing the same bog that didn’t magically vanish down a pipe wasn’t idea for my mrs but there are plenty of trees on piss on. All and all a very very enjoyable trip shall come back again. Thank you Crouch

We had the best time staying in the safari tent at Brocklands Farm. It had everything you could ask for including delicious homemade cake! Our children loved the rope swing, toasting marshmallows on the camp fire, and sleeping in the cabin bed. We had a glorious evening on the terrace with a beautiful view and sunset. I would highly recommend this place, especially if you want some luxury with your camping!

Just back from staying in a Safari Tent at Brocklands Farm and can't wait to do it all again. Fabulous luxury Safari Tent, beautiful beds with snug Duvets! Furnished superbly with every comfort in mind - if you have never been Glamping this is the place to be! The views across the fields and wonderful sunsets. Thank you to Buffy for making us feel so welcome and helping us to learn how to light woodburning stoves for added warmth and piping hot water for the shower. So much to do in the area but also just lovely 'To Be' . Thanks Buffy for the yummy Cake & CHampagne to add to the feeling of home/luxury. Wonderful few days.

What a wonderful retreat, it was everything we dared hope for and far more than we'd ever expected. The farm afforded stunning landscapes with breathtaking views down the valley and, nestled in a field of wild grasses and flowers, a beautiful tent brimming with luxurious finishes and thoughtful touches. Aside from a colossal thunder storm on our first night (nothing as comforting as a down duvet to hide under when things get a bit hairy!) our experience was beautifully quiet and deeply peaceful. As regular glampers and annual campers, we've enjoyed many wonderful outdoor living experiences but Brocklands Farm is very special and now rates as a new family favourite! Do yourself a favour and spoil yourself. It's certainly worth it.

This is off the scale luxury glamping - everything in this accommodation is high class, from the bed linen, to the fully equipped kitchen, and the beautiful surroundings. I come back to the South Downs when I can because I've traced my family back 200 years in this area, and staying at Buffy's beautiful property made me feel even more at home. If you're pondering whether or not to book this, don't hesitate, you will have a great stay at a wonderful place, in a beautiful area. Thank you Buffy for putting so much into this place to make it a great stay.

This is the second time we've stayed at Brocklands Farm, and it won't be the last. The location and accommodation is fantastic and the tents are really well maintained. Buffy and Hugh are always extremely welcoming and friendly too. Highly recommend this for families and friends who want a relaxing stay.

We have recently returned from 2 nights in Lapwing on Brocklands Farm and it was an absolutely wonderful retreat for us (two adults and a toddler). Before arriving the communication was excellent, making organising sleeping arrangements for toddler and finding the location super easy. On arrival, the location and view is gorgeous with uninterrupted sunsets and a few little treats in the tent that really were appreciated. The tent is very clean, comfortable, spacious, very well equipped and ideal for our family of three and could easily have accommodated another couple of people. We didn’t need any equipment as everything was provided. There is even a little solar powered fridge that can help keep your milk cool for a morning coffee. The stove which warms the water for the shower also warms the bathroom so after your shower you are coming out into a cosy room which makes all the difference! We particularly enjoyed eating our breakfast at a proper full sized dining table all cosy by the fire in the morning chill and making dinner outside on hot coals watching the sunset (I can also recommend the meat from the local butcher). Toddler had plenty space to run free in full sight of us and the cabin bed was ideal for him sleeping, I have to say, I fancied a go in there myself! One day we took a walk to the village (With the directions easy to follow) and enjoyed the views and the landscapes of the farm followed by a nice coffee in the local pub. Finally, Buffy was a wonderful host and she very kindly took the time to chat and listen to my little chatter box toddler and promptly return some property that we managed to leave behind us. We would happily recommend this Glamping to our friends. We made a lot of wholesome family memories here, melting marshmallows and listening to owls and collecting acorns and we look forward to returning.
