We have just come home from a four night stay at Burton Constable and I’m happy to say we had such a lovely time. When we checked in it was quick and easy, the lady on the front desk was so lovely and welcoming. I didn’t catch her name unfortunately but she informed us of the best places for dog walking (we took 2 pooches), ensured we knew the layout of the sight and wished us a lovely stay. The caravan was very clean, modern and cosy. It was perfect, not to mention our plot was on the lakeside. We had great views all day and night. The tracks on the other side of the bridge over the lake were perfect for the dogs. Me and my partner have tried many places for a relaxing get away with our two dogs and this was the best one yet. Amazing service, welcoming team and an overall lovely trip. We have already booked for next year and are looking forward to it !

Stayed Mon-Fri, the site rang us to say the lodge was ready early but unfortunately we were late arriving. Key was waiting for us at the bar. Lodge was warm relaxing & had everything we needed. Lovely walks on site for our dog. Very welcoming pub which we went to a couple of times with our dog, they even gave her a doggy ice cream. It was quite dark on site so a torch is a must & there are loads of rabbits! Missed having wifi at the lodge as we like to connect to Netflix etc in the evening. Would definitely go again

We had a great experience before we even arrived on site with the friendly receptionist calling us on the way inviting us to arrive 3 hours earlier if we wanted to as our lodge was ready (183). On arrival the park took our breath away with its long driveway, beautiful grounds. We too our dogs and they had the best time walks and chilling. The dog friendly lodge was amazing and even left gravy bones and poo bags for dogs. So we'll equipped we wanted for nothing. The only downside was the Lakeside bar as at this time if year not many where in but the barman lacked personality to invite people in and did not encourage us to go back. So much to see in the local area you are spoilt for choice and will be back defo.... Thank you to all

This as our second visit this year, this time in a different lodge. The staff are helpful and friendly. The lodge was immaculately clean through out. Excellent price. Beds very comfortable. Light and spacious accommodation. Easy booking online. Walks round the holiday park and lake were lovely. Bar on site although we didn't use it this time. A pleasant walk over to the Burton Constable hall.

Views are just lovely. A nice walk through to burton constable it's self. We will definitely be returning next year more than once

We made the mistake of only booking one night here. If we had known how lovely it was we would have definitely booked for a longer stay. We don’t usually book campsites we’re fires are not allowed as we enjoy sitting by the fire on a night but we didn’t mind, here. So peaceful and the views are just beautiful. We arrived at 6pm and went straight to the lakeside bar for pizza and drinks, both of which were lovely. We went into the shop/cafe in the morning and had bacon sandwiches and coffee. Everyone is so friendly. All dog friendly too. We also thought the prices were very reasonable too. We will definitely be returning!

Disappointing stay. Being disabled, I'd asked for a pitch near to the toilet block but was told in no uncertain terms that the block furthest away from us was the one we were assigned. This was a difficult walk for me on an incline. The wardens regularly cleaned and checked the toilets. The ladies was clean the gents on a few occasions were not. Music was played very loudly on one night and a fight when someone asked them to turn it down. It was eventually stopped somewhere way after midnight. The next night there was a very loud argument about paternity that would not have been out of place on Jermany Kyle. It was a long drive to the main road and you weren't driving through the beautiful countryside but a massive caravan park. After the bank holiday crossing the field to the toilets I have rarely seen an area so covered in cigarette ends. The dog walk is a long way from the touring park so most dog owners didn't bother. The WiFi was not adequate and we mostly had to do without this for most of our stay. Will not be returning.

Thank you for your recent review and we are so sorry to hear of your experience. We try and accommodate our guests as best as we can, and I'm sure if we had been able to move your pitch we would of. Bank holidays are our busiest times and unfortunately this means less movement amongst the pitches. We also expect our guests to be mindful of other guests and we are so sorry to hear about the disturbances you had unfortunately encountered. Our Wardens are always on hand to help with any issues. We do hope you return back soon and experience the Park as the relaxing, peaceful Park it is more well known for.

What an amazing site we stumbled across! Our family have just returned from a wonderful holiday at Burton Constable Holiday Park. The site is spotlessly clean, pitches are well spaced and all are within walking distance of different toilets/shower blocks. The showers are warm, clean and spacious, especially the large family cubicle. Toilets are spotlessly too! We'd live to give a massive Thank You to the park wardens Andy and his wife, they were fantastic and worth their weight in gold especially after my daughter broke her wrist on the 3rd day of our holiday! They checked up on her a few times a day and checked if we needed anything. Thanks to Andy for jump starting my partners car when the battery decided to go flat when we were packing down 🙈 and for all the other arrangements to help accommodate our little girls injury! See you next year!

If you are looking for a quiet, clean relaxing self-catering location to stay, this is the place to go. Mixture of static homes and lodges well spaced and not on top of each other like some parks. Elm Lodge was amazing, spacious and well equipped for a family stay. On site bar and pizza/burger food outlet 5min walk away (note food van is NOT open Tue/Wed/Thu). Small shop for essentials also available and nearest supermarket is 3 miles away. Staff at reception are welcoming and available to give recommendations to local pubs and places to visit. Burton Constable Manor house is about a mile away on foot with tea rooms. 4g mobile signal is not amazing on EE (other networks may vary), but WiFi is available at the bar if you need an internet fix. Great price for an August holiday and we enjoyed a well earned rest. Will look at returning again in the future.
