We had an amazing stay in the first week of March this year at Sri Villas. The owner Carolyn and the whole staff were so friendly, always with a smile, always ready to help and make you feel at home. 3 beautiful villas with big rooms, a great pool set just in front of a beautiful empty beach. Perfect for sunset strolls with the owner's dog Blackie :). The food for breakfast and dinner always delicious. And you are always in great company with. Thank you Carolyn and everyone at Sri Villas for making our stay so special !!
We stayed six nights and had an absolutely fabulous time. The location is exclusive and secluded and offers everything you could want -- a perfect spot to just relax on the beach. The attentive, professional and friendly staff round out the overall experience. The food is wonderful -- I can't say enough of how delicious the curries are -- and overall the Sri Lankan cuisine was outstanding. The rooms are exquisite and well serviced, and the property lies just meters from the roaring ocean. We highly recommend and look forward to visiting again in the near future.
Six of us stayed at SV for 4 nights at the beginning of our holiday 2 weeks ago. It was perfect in every way to unwind and start to feel the Sri Lankan magic seep in ! We had a villa to ourselves which was very comfortable the staff couldn’t do enough for us but not intrusive. We eat every night in our villa the food was delicious, choice of Sri Lankan or European menu The breakfast was brilliant too. The sea was a little rough so only swim the last too days but wow what a stunning beach and to walk out of the villa straight onto the beach was so lovely. The pool was fab and great for swimming lengths !! Carolyn and Blackie were great hosts and organised some yoga for us which we did each morning couldn’t have been a better place to be in front of the ocean. We all would definitely recommend SV and we would love one day to return. Thank you Carolyn and Blackie …
We stayed four nights at Sri Villas and wish we could have stayed longer. The hotel lies right on a very long, empty sand beach, so you just step out to the water -- or stay in the hotel pool looking out to the sea. The room was spacious, comfortable, tastefully furnished with a view right out onto the ocean. The staff was very attentive without being obtrusive. We ate there nearly every night (except for one evening when we went to Galle) and the food is good, with the specials changing every day. The manager Carolyn was very nice and helpful, and we loved her dog, Blackie, who every morning at breakfast would come over and sit under our table. Overall it was a perfect place to just relax and enjoy the beauty.
We have just rounded off a wonderful trip to Sri Lanka with a couple of days at this perfect beachside location. The waves thunder on the sand just in front of the property and everyone gathers down where the grass meets the sand for sundowners at 6pm. The accommodation is flawless and the food delicious, but what makes the property so special is the lovely chilled atmosphere created by Carolyn the manager and the Sri Lankan staff. Carolyn is knowledgeable about Sri Lankan history and literature, and has clearly developed a real feeling for the country she now calls home, which is evident in the respect between her and the young Sri Lankan waiters. I would have no hesitation in returning
