Hardanger Basecamp is located in Osa, Norway, with close access to both the Hardangerfjord and Hardangervidda. The beautiful scenery and its mysterious history make this a great destination. Hardanger Basecamp offers accommodation, meals and activities, all “nature related”. Come and experience the "back to basics" and "back to nature" way of life in Osa. Hardanger Basecamp offers accommodation in comfortable Mongolian Yurts. The interior of every yurt offers a cosy, comfortable safe feeling. Yet, in and outside, you will experience the feeling being in nature. All Mongolian yurts are supplied with electricity and heating. Basecamp has sanitary facilities including toilets, showers, washing sink, fridge, washing machine and dryer. Overnight staying guests of Basecamp can enjoy breakfast and dinner in a 100 year old “Kafeen” in Osa, where day tourists can enjoy drink and/or pancakes or buy some dried mushrooms or homemade marmalades. Special offer: from 1st June till 31th August every guest receives 7 free activities (kayaking, biking, archery workshop, guided walk, nature workshop, kids’ activity and Ulvik quiz quest). After your arrival, the free activities can be booked in the B-Active Center, which is the outdoor and activity heart of Ulvik. B-Active Center offers more than 30 activities – rental, half day and full day excursions and workshops.
