Simply put, this is the best campsite I have ever visited! Beautiful quiet location with very generously sized pitches, it almost feels like you are staying on a nature reserve....in a way I suppose you are! The trees around the pitch have been newly planted, but in a few years each pitch will feel like a little glade and be...

Quiet, out of the way campsite. As the site isn't on a major road there's no traffic noise. The pitches give you plenty of room. The fact you have a campfire area made it just about perfect from my point of view. This is a site I will continue to return to. If fact, writing this review is probably not...

This was a third visit to The Secret Campsite. Perfect site, lots of space, campfires, a fridge, excellent shower. Tim is a legend, so helpful and friendly. The site has lots of footpaths and an abundance of great pubs to visit for beer and food. We'll be back again and again.

We're complete novice campers!! Our daughter wanted to go camping for her birthday, and she wanted a campfire. We wanted a campsite that would give us a proper camping experience, but with the mod-cons of a campsite. After lots of hunting, we found The secret Campsite. We borrowed a tent and some essentials and headed down there in heavy rain....

We really liked this campsite and we will be back. Pitches are well spaced, private and the whole site including the facilities are well looked after. It was nice hearing Badgers and Owls in the woods next to the site, while sitting round the fire eating marshmallows.

This campsite is the best we've been to in the UK. It's almost a fairytale with pitches well divided between small wildflower patches and trees giving privacy and space. Each pitch has its own fire. Stay still and you can watch the rabbits hopping by. Go for a walk in the forest and spot some deer. We went to the...

We loved this campsite - the big spaces between pitches means you're not tripping over your next door neighbours guy ropes and you can feel like you're properly getting away from it all. Helped by the fact it's bordered by woodland and rather impressive oak trees. There are also lots of smaller trees onsite which once they are more fully...

First time back to camping after a break of 10 years or more, young daughter and wife wanted to camp and have a fire so we booked here as close to home and had a fire pit. pros Location was nice, spacious meadow pitches that meant neighbours were not on top of each other and as no vehicles in the...

We spent 4 days/nights camping here. It is an excellent place to use as a base for exploring the south downs and coast. There are infinite places to visit and things to see. The camp site itself is clean, tidy, quiet and most importantly safe. My kids are 6 and 7 and I felt fine and safe letting them explore...
