Has recently been refurbished - near through road with not much else nearby - lots of parking on site and large rear gardens. Good open plan bar with reasonably priced food. Rooms well presented and well priced. A good place for a stay over when on the way to somewhere else!

The newly refurbished rooms are spacious but we were disappointed that the shower is over the bath and did not drain away well...stood in ankle height water whilst showering. We had a family get together in the restaurant...very disappointing. Understaffed, microwaved food and the bar ran out of beer !!! One section of the bar was piled up with empty...

We popped in as usually go to little chef when passing by here. Went in and now glad we did. This will now be our pit stop! Loved it! They allow dogs in their if your planning to stay at the bar. We didn't use the hotel, just the restaurant.

The hotel was excellent.. Large room, with all requirements , tastefully decorated and very quiet. Huge comfortable bed. Unfortunately the adjoining restaurant is operated by Green king franchise with all the usual failings. E.g i asked for two boiled eggs for breakfast and when i took the tops of the 'white' slid down onto the plate as raw as the...

We stayed for one night as we were going on the excellent Ringwood Brewery tour. The Hotel itself is very nice and the rooms are modern and clean, the same as the Pub/ Restaurant. We had a nice lunch and evening meal, both of which were well priced, although my wife's risotto was very nice it didn't really resemble risotto...

This used to be one of my favourite places to eat. I loved the history ambience friendly staff and good food with lots of choice. It's now been taken over by Greene King. It's like a Wetherspoons but expensive. No choice, no ambience, bad food and the same as every other plastic and fake yey old inn the chains are...

Ate here twice this week. The meals on our second visit, a friday evening, were spot on...we had a medium rare rump steak (which was lovely so not sure why a previous reviewer had such a problem), a beef rib where the meat fell off the bone and my daughter had the Indian banquet...the saag aloo this came with was...
