My boyfriend wanted to go camping and I would rather a hotel so we compromised and went glamping! And we Loved every minute of it! The pod had everything inside that we needed (minus the bedding but we were happy to bring our own anyways) it even had a cold box to put fresh food

Second time I've been camping here and as before had a really nice time. The site is excellent with large pitches and clean facilities. Close by to Moors Valley, pubs and shops close by for all your supplies. Been to several other places this year but this is by far the best and

We stayed for a long weekend and have to agree with all the positive reviewers. The wardens are really welcoming, friendly, helpful and knowledgeable about the area. You can tell that they enjoy what they are doing. The pitches are nice and big, the facilities are very clean,

Hay, is there a pub on or local to this site please?
No pub onsite, there is one on the main road , about 25 minutes walk . Along the lane from the site to the main road, you’d need a torch late at night

Is there a short cut to the Woodman pub from the site please
Hi. For the Woodman pub you walk down the main lane. Its about 10 minutes from the front gate. Hope that helps.

Are the midges really bad?
We went in the early summer, when it was the midges 'breeding season. The citronella incense sticks which I purchased from the on site shop, worked well to get rid of them. The midges weren't any more problem than I have in my own garden on a summer's night. It's a super campsite, I would go again without hesitation. Have a lovely time.
