Just returned from a weekend break staying in the Tomatin cabin. The location is private and tranquil. A tastefully furnished cabin with everything you could need. Two lovely bathrooms with a choice of wet room, bath or shower. Plenty of fluffy towels are provided and towelling robes which are really useful when using the hot tub. The beds are really comfy and the cabin is cleaned to a very high standard. While we spent most of our time in the hot tub, a large selection of dvds are also available. We took our little dog who relaxed and enjoyed himself. Would definitely recommend a stay and we are looking to return ASAP. Would also recommend a very early look at the incredible stars in this beautiful location.

We stayed at Lazy Days soon after the lodges had just transferred to new ownership. Any anxieties we might have felt as a result disappeared after meeting Andie and Gordon. They were very welcoming and made our stay memorable. The lodges are situated in a predominantly farming area and are perfect if you want to get away from it all. There are three lodges on site all spaced to give a lot of privacy. The sauna was not operational due to covid restrictions but the hot tub more than made up for this. Gordon was amazing with the younger guests and arranged activities for them daily. Our son still talks about how much he enjoyed himself and has become more self assured follwing this trip. We had some issues with housekeeping that could have completly spoilt our holiday but Andie and Gordon’s approach to customer service meant issues were resolved quickly. This was our first visit to this part of the country and we cannot wait to return.

These log cabins must be Berwickshire’s best kept secret. If you are looking for a chilled out, relaxing holiday, Lazyday Cottages tick all the boxes.

The rural location feels isolated, but is only a few minutes drive to Berwick-upon-Tweed, amenities and the local beaches, with plenty to offer everyone. We were lucky enough to book the Strathisla cabin, with its own hot tub and sauna, and there is nothing more relaxing than sitting under the stars with a drink in perfect peace and quiet.

The cabin was beautiful, clean, tidy, and has all the facilities you need for self-catering accommodation. It also has possibly the comfiest bed I’ve slept on when on holiday, along with the blackout curtains and silence, a good nights sleep is pretty much assured. We booked as a couple, but it would be ideal for walking and cycling holidays.

Booking was easy, and the hosts were great, keeping us updated before our visit, and even popped by to make sure everything was in order before leaving us in peace. We will definitely be back, and cannot recommend Lazyday highly enough.

Oh, and our dog loved it too.

We stayed and due to check out today in the cabin named Bunnahabhain which as well as the name gives maximum points in scrabble it also gave us maximum comfort and relaxation. The cabin was truly magnificent and the showers are best have ever had. The hot tub and grounds are fantastic and plenty of space to relax. Inside the kitchen is well stocked with utensils and everything is cleaned including the fridge and oven. Will deffo look at staying again in not too distant future, if had the money I’d offer to buy it and live full time lol. The only thing I would say and this isn’t a reflection of the cabin or the owners is the spiderwebs along the porch area as having arachnophobia it felt a bit “oh Jesus” but it’s outside in the middle of nature so this is to be expected wouldn’t want to evict them but every now and again maybe some sort of industrial strength jet wash could be used lol. Cannot fault this place really and we had stayed the night before we came here at a “5* lodge” near flamingo land and this place beats it in everyway possible… so to summarise this place is amazing, get it booked and get your relaxation on :-)

The Strathisla lodge that we stayed in (one of three) was absolutely perfect. Everything you could possibly need for a relaxing recharge break is included along with a private sauna and hot tub. The privacy and peace offered here is unrivalled. Gordon and Andie have done an amazing job of creating a haven that it is well worth making an effort to travel to. Fantastic hosts who couldn’t do enough to make our stay both comfortable and very enjoyable.

From the moment we arrived, hosts were exceptional and we felt so relaxed and welcome. Although the photos look brilliant, it is even better in real life. Quads were vastly appreciated by our family. The hot tub was amazing. Great location to explore. Our trip was too short we can’t wait to return. Thank you Gordon, Andy and your team!

The cabin is absolutely beautiful. Very spacious, clean, comfortable with plenty of space for everyone. We travelled as a family of 4. Our 2 near-teenage boys loved the comfy bed and the walk-in shower. For me it was the bathtub that got me excited and live flowers as we arrived were a truly nice touch. The hot tub was a real treat, great for star gazing on a cold night. Lovely, quiet area, ideal for a morning coffee on a terrace listening to nature sounds. Peace and tranquil. We all thoroughly enjoyed the stay, being able to please growing boys is something! Thank you Andie and Gordon, we'll most certainly stay at Lazy Cottages again!

Not long home from our second stay at LazyDays lodges. Such a relaxing and beautiful place. The lodges are thoughtfully and beautifully set out with everything you could need to unwind and relax. The personal hot tubs are an absolute joy. Lovely walks and country pubs nearby. Our dog has never been happier than her two trips there.
