I live in this area and have used this restaurant many times and have always found the staff very helpful and accommodating to any dietary needs. And a good choice of great wholesome food! And since opening again since the COVID 19 closure, the extra care taken is exactly as it should be. Ensuring you use the sanitisers provided, staff wearing masks or face shields and no music playing and every care taken. I think it’s brilliant! I can’t comment on the hotel as I’ve never stayed here.

I have been working away for my company for several weeks now with a colleague and I have been very impressed with the hotel and staff! We are well catered for and looked after. The rooms are always clean and maintained, never had a bad meal the food is really good with good variety and the beer is always flowing. Would defiantly recommend if anyone was working away the place is a must!

Currently working up at Rosyth and my Companies admin lady found this absolute gem that is only 5mins from our place of work. I have been up here doing fortnightly stints including weekends since August. The staff are very friendly and always very helpful. The rooms are good with a decent sized modern tv. My room (18)has been kept really clean and tidy for my entire stay. The bed is comfy. The shower design makes the most of low water pressure and is lovely and hot. Just what I need after a long day but it could do with a shelf for your sponge etc but I suspect my length of stay has alot to do with this observation. The restaurant food I cannot fault. Particular favourites are the homemade steak pie and the piri piri chicken burger. Lovely. Bar prices are pretty good too. There is a proper pub attached to the hotel called Makenzies where my work mate and myself have spent alot of time in watching football, playing pool and having a few beers. Breakfasts are good and there is a wide selection to choose from be it cereals or cooked with the usual selection of tea, coffee, juices, yoghurt etc. I'm back next week. Myself and my work mate are up here along time and we do miss our families when we are there so we really do appreciate the friendliness and they way we have been looked after so far. Thank you.

This was the loveliest meal out. Went for the fishcake for starter which was delicious followed by steak pie. Really good portions and such a good price. Sophie our waitress was awesome and made sure we had everything we needed. Really deserves my 5* review

Hotel was really nice with spotless & spacious rooms. We came as a family of 5 and had 3 rooms all close together which was nice. Lady at reception was very pleasant and welcoming. Check in and checkout was quick. Breakfast was served from 7-9am. They had a selection of cereals, toast, croissants, fruit, fried egg, bacon and sausage which were all kept hot. All tasted lovely. Along with selection of jams, honey and butters. So something for everyone. Also the dinner served there was very nice. We had lasagne, steak pie and beef burger. Worth the money. Very happy, thank you.
