Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Fantastically located campsite with great amenities including a welcoming on site cafe. Friendly, family run and peaceful with pitches for tents, camper vans and caravans. Seth couldn’t have been more helpful on arrival - we look forward to a longer visit next time to explore the stunning scenery of Glen Affric some more.

Simply the best stop on a round britain drive. Everything is perfect! The staff are all amazing and the food is excellent in the cafe. Beautiful place and a lovely atmosphere....possibly ruined by me playing the bagpipes....but no-one punched me!!! To me this is the epitome of a campsite. Well done everyone.

Love Strathglass and the glens so wanted to spend some time here. Friendly, well-managed site, felt safe in a tent alone (not so elsewhere). Like sleeping in a forest. The cafe is very good, hot fresh breakfasts, meals and quality cakes, and excellent cappucino that stays hot. I drive and can't walk far, but for walkers and cyclists a great area.

Great campsite. Peaceful, clean, well maintained. Great place to explore Glen Affric and surrounding area. Facilities are clean. Plentiful hot water. Very helpful and friendly manager. Only £19.50 per night. A real gem and highly recommended

Fab little campsite. Stayed in a pod which was basic (as advertised) but clean and warm. Very quiet site and friendly staff. Love the fact they charge per person, so a solo traveller doesn't end up paying the same as a family of five. Dog friendly too. Will be back!

Camping review We arrived on spec at 10pm after a negative experience at our originally planned site (see separate review for BCC glamping, Glen Urquhart) and were warmly welcomed despite the late hour. The manager/owner(?) walked us to a selection of pitches and showed us the facilities. The toilets/showers are clean and well maintained with laundry /washing up facilities and a generously sized wet weather lounge including comfortable seating and fridge freezer. Pitches are well spaced with ample room to park beside your tent. Friendly, helpful staff available around day/evenings. I get the impression that any antisocial behaviour would be swiftly addressed which is reassuring, not that we noted anything of the sort during our stay. Bike hire available and the onsite Bog Cotton cafe which opens at 8am serves very good food with an impressive selection of vegan options too. Bar/restaurant in the village of Cannich is within walking distance which we found very friendly. We didn't eat there but menu looked good (advice is to book restaurant in advance). Not previously big fans of camping sites but this has given us an interesting taste of how good they can be. A real gem of a place and we will definitely go back again.

Had 5 lovely nights in a tent here once again, so quiet and great location for walks and hiking, very dog friendly as well. Showers and toilets lovely and clean and the on site cafe is well worth a visit. Can't wait to come back!

This is a lovely site - set in a beautiful location with lots of native trees and nature. If the thing you love about camping is being in a natural environment with trees, birds etc.. then this is the perfect place to stay. There is plenty of room, the facilities are good - also has a cafe on site and the site is very peaceful and relaxing.
