Everything was perfect- the room, the host, the breakfast, and the medieval village. It is a bit of a problem getting up to the rooms, if you aren't too mobile or have heavy luggage. But otherwise all is wonderful. It is a lovely place to feel yourself back in medieval France while enjoying a great accommodation. We hope to return!

Characterful very clean rooms, some with small private terrace, are in adjacent house to mde Boissiere's, a friendly welcoming host. Montpeyroux is a lovely mediaeval hilltop village to wander around. Two restaurants one gourmet the other good value creperie. Breakfast was very good with lovely breads croissant, cake and the best fig jam ever tasted! Would certainly recommend and return....

We stayed there for 1 night, on our way to Nice, and Mde Boissiere was a great host. The Chambre Violette was charming and comfortable.

Montpeyroux has to be one of the most beautiful small villages in France. The hotel is idylic. Lovely breakfast. Will return one day.

“Just to note You need to be super fit if taking rooms on upper floors with cases, very old house with steep narrow stairs”
