Went to Thailand July 6th and stayed at Tournesol Boutique Hotel located in Aranyaprathet, for the night. The room and amenities were merely OK, nothing to write home about and no English language TV options. The swimming pool is long and somewhat narrow, though filled the bill for my daily swimming exercise regime. Tournesol Boutique nonetheless did have one mighty fine free buffet breakfast. It was tops. Buffet included fried eggs sunny-side up, ham, chicken, beef, rice dishes, bor-bor (a local porridge), a variety of fresh fruits, corn flakes, toast, milk, coffee, tea and hot chocolate. Nice spread, nicely done. Tournesol Boutique is moderately priced and worth a night’s lodging to chow down on the morning buffet.

Hotel needs a shake up. Reception staff good but forgot internet log in. So back down for that. Plus the wifi keeps logging you out. Room 202. See picture. Shower door repaired badly. Dirty at bottom of door. Hair in the shower do it had not been cleaned. Bed ok . Clean. Breakfast was poor. No fruit. All do it yourself. Instant coffee. Eggs cold since heating on pan had gone out probably because staff were to busy on their phones to worry about their job. Lunch at restaurant was ok. Food not great but just passable. As said at the begin place and staff need a shakeup.

Everything about the hotel was great except the swimming pool. It is in the shade most of the day and so the water is very cold. Also there are no sunbeds around the pool just plastic dining chairs. Above the restaurant are 3 sunbeds overlooking the main road. Balconies are also tiny that are only big enough for 1 chair that was not even supplied.

The rooms are nice and clean and well looked after. The plumbing in one of our rooms was done by someone who could've been trained better. The hotel has a beautiful swimming pool with clean showers and toilets. Breakfast was somewhat unappetizing and prefered to eat elsewhere. The staff is friendly, but have difficulty to communicate in English. We managed though. Will visit again.

Staff ad the front desk very friendly 10/10 and the security person add the parking lot. This hotel have a private parking and free WiFi in the rooms. The photos in the internet are looking great but reality is different the rooms are very small almost no place between the bed's to walk and very dangerous to hit your lake (Not safe) the bed is hard as a rock. Air conditioner is loud, room view from the rooms on the back you can see nothing only a other building balcony you cannot use. Only the rooms to the parking and the swimming pool are more or less ok for the view. Swimming pool nice but the water is cold and you can not have a nice time on the swimming pool reason no seats why!! Breakfast is very poor even the rice soup was cold!! and you need to sit on a metal chair. How uncomfortable. This was a poor presentation of Boutique Hotel and for sure for the price.

Tournesol is in a great position for those wishing to spend a couple of days checking ut the border market. Just abut within walking distance. This modern design relatively new hotel has great rooms starting at 1000 baht per night. There is parking for your car. staff are friendly. I found the younger staff in the restaurant lacked confidence in serving foreign customers which resulted in several misunderstandings when ordering. I speak some Thai but I think they may have been foreigners themselves. The restaurant food was OK - a little overpriced and standard Thai fare. The price of the room included breakfast - this was a major disappointment. A small buffet breakfast was served on the floor above the restaurant. Coffee was instant is sachets. there was a reasonable rice soup, for Chinese there was a lonely tray of glass noodles but the attempt at a "western" style breakfast was just a joke. at first there was a tin tray of boiled processed slices of ham and cocktail sausages. later some eggs appeared and finally some slices of bacon......which had been BOILED! Toast was a ghastly sweet style sliced bread that required two trips through the conveyor toaster before it resembled toast. The butter seemed to have been produced from diesel. it seems to me that if you are going to offer sausage bacon and eggs, it would be a good idea to find out what they are actually like - the best this establishment did was to partially mimic the shapes - taste and food content were well wide of any acceptable criteria. I can't say that this hotel is alone in presenting appalling breakfasts - what I can't understand is why they continue in this vein. You offer a perfectly good room and then the next day your customers leave (literally!) with a bad taste in their mouth.

Beds were comfortable, room clean, staff helpful and friendly. Good value for us, and the pool was a nice bonus that we really enjoyed . The location out of town was quiet. The restaurant was very good too.

This hotel is good for a quick stop. It is clean and comfortable. There are 2 buildings. My room , B206 is in the 2 story building. There are swimming pool and gym room. buffet breakfast is in standard, serving local and American style. Comparing to what spent, it is a good choice for this small town.

I only stayed at this Hotel for one Night on my recent trip to Aranyapratet, Thailand, very close to the border of Cambodia. The Room was gorgeous but the Air con broke at bedtime so we got moved to another room straight away no problem. The Pool was nice but a very shallow part for Children, and the adults part of the Pool was quite deep for me, i cannot swim, and could hardly touch the bottom. The breakfast Buffet was nothing to be desired, the Eggs were cold, they had been fried for a long time and left in a tin, no butter for the toast, I had to ask for some. The cook brought 6 more fried eggs and there was a mad dash for them, then when everyone had finished and left, she brought out a lot which was a bit late. If I ever go to Aranyapratet again I shall look for another Hotel, I give this place 7 our of 10.

This hotel is clean and quiet. I didn't book online so I paid 1000 baht, including breakfast. There is a fridge with 2 free waters, no safe. LCD TV with all THai channels, and I forgot to pack my flash drive to watch a movie. THe A/C is cold but goes off when you take your key out of the room. There are soap and shampoo dispensers in the bat, and good pressure and hot water. Two bath and two hand towels. Four big pillows on a firm big bed. THere is a balcony but no chairs. THere is a hairdryer but only one outlet by the bed. Breakfast buffet at 7:00 is next door at the cafe. Fried eggs, ham, hot dogs, nearly raw bacon, instant coffee, tea bags, rice, some fried dish, congee, toast, juice. Staff are all friendly with limited English. THere is a pool but I didn't use it. THey gave me a free ride to the bus station in the morning on a motorbike. Wifi was fast and always up.
