Everything about the Old Vicarage is wonderfully warm and nostalgic. The main rooms are large, the breakfast excellent, and the hosts John and Christine are wonderful, friendly and helpful. The price is reasonable. The beds are soft. The bathroom large and spotless. I have been coming to the Easingwold area for 25 years and have stayed at pretty much every... More

First rate hospitality in a beautiful location, John and Christine could not have been more welcoming hosts. My room overlooking the square had recently been refurbished and was comfortable and spotless. No detail was spared, from chocolates by the bed to cotton buds in the bathroom! I enjoyed wonderful English breakfasts and although I was in the area for business... More

A very welcoming B&B, with spacious and spotlessly clean rooms and attentive hosts. The full English breakfast is first rate, and we appreciated the non-greasy fry up , delicious bread and the fat trimmed off the bacon. The small bathroom and shower enclosure were offset by being immaculate and having good quality toiletries. Easingwold seems to have a boy racer... More

A well situated and delightful B&B overlooking the Market square in Easingwold. The owners provide a friendly welcome for visitors in clean rooms that have comfortable beds. Breakfast is a "proper" English breakast, with a good choice of cereals and lovely bacon & sausages. The Market Square has Restaurants & Pubs a few moments walk, together with other useful shops... This guest house is in a lovely listed building in a very pretty village in North Yorkshire. The owners are very friendly and the breakfasts are good. The bedrooms are dated and the shower room was very small with a curtained shower and had obviously not been updated for 20 years. Normally I would not complain because everything was spotless... If you prefer privacy and a quiet, relaxing environment, this B&B cannot be beat! Christine is a most welcoming hostess and the cottage is clean, cozy and charming. I had the privilege of staying while visiting England and it was a memorable experience. Thank you again Christine for a wonderful Stay! Best Wishes!
