We spent a couple of nights at this hotel, whose location is very convenient: opposite the beach and walking distance from the harbour. The building is very nice and guests can benefit from facilities such as billiard room. Much appreciated was the coffee, tea (high quality) and water station, as well as the kettle in the rooms. We got 2 rooms on the first floor, facing the park. They both had a very nice, « green » view and were quiet and clean. The rooms were not very large and they missed mostly a refrigerator, besides (less important) a safe and more hanging/storage place. The bed was very comfortable and duvets very good too. The bathrooms could benefit from a renovation but were functional. One of the best aspects of the hotel is certainly the excellent breakfast, with lots of different options, salty and sweet, also gluten free. Bikes (with pedal brakes) are available for guests for free. Not very comfortable but ok to bike up to the Louisiana Museum. All in all, a very good stay.

With a majestic driveway leading up to it, this hotel is perfectly located on a sprawling lawn with a 4-minute walk to the harbour where you'll find a selection of restaurants. We stayed for two nights attending the Nexus U14 International Soccer Tournament. We had a superior room and while plenty big, the bathroom was pretty small: you could fit 2 people in there at once, but only if one was in the shower. The building is large and has long corridors - I never really got to learn my way around, but followed signs. Breakfast was very good, neatly served in ready-made portions you would put on your plate (e.g. a small bowl with sausage and 2 strips of bacon). I would particularly like to commend Saúl for his outstanding cocktail service: he made us his signature Monkey G&T and went into great detail about his selection of ingredients and how he expresses himself through his profession. We also liked the "rec room" where you can bring your drinks, sit in a sofa, check out their library and play billiards. They had someone (Sören) hold his 60th birthday party on Friday, and the hotel was a venue for a wedding with a live band on Saturday, so they had a lot going on! The staff was also kind enough to let us into a conference room where we used our computer to stream a soccer match between Iceland and Slovakia. They also booked a large taxi in advance, to pick us up the morning after (5 passengers with luggage). Last tip: would recommend a visit to a cozy little family-run beach bar, Oddie's, just 4 minutes away.

This hotel is simply wonderful. The best you can imagine. With restaurants close by, the beach, the sea, a wonderful garden, professional staff from reception to restsurant. Small but perfect rooms, wonderful breakfast. In short- perfect. Situated in one of Copenhagens most beautiful suburbs. Go there!

Arrived to our prebooked 'superior' room, 36. The room was spacious but stuffy with two windows that opened only a few inches. We walked the hotel grounds and found a set of parkland rooms with balconies and immediately decided to ask to be moved...the young lady at the front desk was most helpful and quickly arranged for us to move room. The view from the balcony was pleasant from room 159. The room itself was spacious and clean with added bonus of a balcony. The bathroom, however, was dated, dark and depressing. Would reconsider staying there again as 'superior' rooms are far from superior and we could hear our neighbours talking late into the night on their balconies.

Our room was never vacuumed, one day we did not receive new towels but our used ones was left on the floor, other days we only received one new bath towel, used glasses were not removed (and in the hallway used glasses and cups were left for days and we found toilet paper under the bed from previous guests. Also the dinner menu was very limited with one set menu which was repeated during the week. Long line to the coffee machine in the morning and the tea did not taste good.

The room is very small, there is full view of your balcony AND ROOM from the neighboring rooms! So unless you draw the curtains tight no privacy at all possible ... Here the design comes before the guests comfort. Also no fridge but a hot water cooker. The breakfast menu is nice, but expect to walk long distances to everything.

The location and initial impression of the hotel is so good, lovely old house next door to Karen Blixen museum (which was my reason for staying), it’s beachfront & a short stroll to Rungsted harbour but the hotel rides on this and has not been updated in a long time! The communal areas are tired but ok, but the rooms are terrible! Booked for 2 adults & 2 teenagers and was offered a superior with sofabed for the children. I was told I was given a good price but now see I could have had 2 double rooms for the same price! The room was really hot and stuffy and there was no A/C, also no plugpoints to charge phones etc, we had to scramble under the desk to find a plugpoint! The shower room was old and badly appointed, the shower curtain which was hanging off the rail should have been a glass shower panel as when you showered the bathroom floor flooded. I never write reviews as you usually get what you pay for but this place was a joke! totally overpriced and unfunctional. When you are travelling some things should be standard, to be able to refresh in a cool room, shower comfortably and charge your phones, this place delivered on none of these! It’s got the charm but sadly not the mod cons!

This is a congress machine hotel with the ambience of an old country mansion. Little cosy rooms with everything you need. Wonderful brekfast. Acommodating people in the reception mostly trying to fullfill our every wish. A playful athmosphere with some surprise elements here and there. Calm, near the sea. We never tried the restaurant but it looked nice. Nearby there is a pier mooring sailboats that has a lot of good restaurants. In the village nearby there is a excellent sushi place called Nord. On the pier another, but a sleeker and more international concept, a chain called Sticks. And of course-a danish Kro nearby with traditional food of doubtful quality but with wonderful staff. All in all we loved beeing there these 5 days in july.

We chose Rungstedgård as we (2 adults and 1 child (11 years)) was going to play golf at The Scandinavian Golf Club and visit North Zealand. Everyone we were in touch with from ordering until we checked out was very serviceminded, cozy and knew their tasks. Our room was large and nice. It was a good and affordable experience and a hotel that we will visit in the future. The hotel was well secured for the Covid-19 situation
