The building is very nice and guests can benefit from facilities such as billiard room.
Much appreciated was the coffee, tea (high quality) and water station, as well as the kettle in the rooms.
We got 2 rooms on the first floor, facing the park. They both had a very nice, « green » view and were quiet and clean.
The rooms were not very large and they missed mostly a refrigerator, besides (less important) a safe and more hanging/storage place.
The bed was very comfortable and duvets very good too.
The bathrooms could benefit from a renovation but were functional.
One of the best aspects of the hotel is certainly the excellent breakfast, with lots of different options, salty and sweet, also gluten free.
Bikes (with pedal brakes) are available for guests for free. Not very comfortable but ok to bike up to the Louisiana Museum.
All in all, a very good stay.
Everyone we were in touch with from ordering until we checked out was very serviceminded, cozy and knew their tasks. Our room was large and nice. It was a good and affordable experience and a hotel that we will visit in the future. The hotel was well secured for the Covid-19 situation
I never write reviews as you usually get what you pay for but this place was a joke! totally overpriced and unfunctional. When you are travelling some things should be standard, to be able to refresh in a cool room, shower comfortably and charge your phones, this place delivered on none of these! It’s got the charm but sadly not the mod cons!
Also the dinner menu was very limited with one set menu which was repeated during the week. Long line to the coffee machine in the morning and the tea did not taste good.
Here the design comes before the guests comfort.
Also no fridge but a hot water cooker.
The breakfast menu is nice, but expect to walk long distances to everything.
Situated in one of Copenhagens most beautiful suburbs. Go there!
It rained cats and dogs when we arrived and when we left and the parking lot is quite far from the main building so bring an umbrella! This is Denmark.
When we arrived, the very snappy receptionist asked whether we were participating in the wedding party that night and when we said no, she informed us that we could not get the room until 15.00. When we protested, she got upset and phoned the cleaning team in a very unpleasant way. We were finally given a room and it was certainly newly cleaned - the floor was soaking wet. The room was very small - 10 m2 - and almost everything was very old - stone cold floor in the bathroom and nowhere to put toiletries. Nothing provided by the hotel except liquid soap and two plastic glasses + towels.
Well, we went to our party and when we came back around midnight, the reception was closed so we could not ask about the breakfast time. We had a 3 hour drive back home the next morning so we got up early and went to breakfast at 7.15. No breakfast and we were told that it was at 8.00 and if we could wait a little while, we could have some bread.
We left - the reception was still closed at 7.30 so we could not pay and left a business card with the key in the reception.
Do not go there unless you have to - it looks great from the outside and all public areas are nice but the rooms are really not worth the money.
services and courtsesy are at the top, really a wonderful experience that makes my journey memorable
"I'd bring along a strip outlet, as electrical sockets in the rooms are limited (at least the superior room). "Read full review
