I wish it was for the week, its was so relaxing and peaceful, I was blown away by the service of ALL the staff, Margaret , Donna,Christa, Mrs + Mr Thompson, the tall guy with the ''accent'' by the bar , the older gentleman who came out to meet us,...

We visited the Anise for two nights at the end of a two week nature tour of Trinidad and Tobago. What a great finale! Anise is a small hotel ideal for relaxation. The friendly staff were always there to deal with our every need and went beyond expectations. The food was plentiful; the best we had in Trinidad and Tobago,...

Literally just came back from Anise Resort and Spa and could not wait to do this review. I have travelled to many all inclusives across the Caribbean and it was a shame that I knew nothing about this gem in my own back yard. First, Krista the manager went out of her way to ensure that I could have the...

My husband, Richard and I visited this resort and spa last week for the long Carnival weekend. We stayed for two nights and i must say this was the most relaxed i felt in all my travel to other Caribbean islands. Firstly i was surprised to find this lovely place existed right under my nose in my country! We had...

Many thanks to absolutely everyone at Anise. Not only did you make us very welcome, you also made our last few days in Trinidad very memorable. Anise is a very professionally family run hotel . The situation is idyllic, overlooking a dramatic piece of coastline in a very peaceful part of Trinidad. Margaret and Donna were like our own personal assistants, always on...

I wanted a Weekend Getaway and that is exactly what I got. The resort is located along the north eastern coast of Trinidad, far from the hustles and bustles of city life. So if it's a quiet stay you want, here is the place. This part of the island isn't known for its night life. One of the things that...

We have stayed in hotels and resorts all over the world.....but the service, the quality and variety of the meals, the attention to detail has put Anise at the top of my list. The staff...esp Donna and Margaret and the special lady in the kitchen made our 6th Anniversary truly memorable!!!!

Everything, except the one negative review, that you read here is true and descriptive of my own experience at Anise. I just returned from my second stay at Anise and I was very happy to discover that the amazing service that I enjoyed on my first visit was just the same the second time around...this is not typical of most...

My husband and I recently spent a night then later in the month, two nights at Anise Resort and Spa. We first stayed in the Lavender room which is the only ocean view room with a private balcony and a king size bed. On our second visit we were booked into the Jasmine room which has two standard beds and...

I got a last minute reservation, the person there, called and begged me to come after I had made an inquiry. She didn't sound like your typical booking agent. There are only 11 rooms. What kind of place only has 11 rooms. No action at all ! The directions I was provided left a lot to be desired, I passed...
