My husband and I celebrated our 10 year anniversary in Thailand. Our first stop was Bangkok, we love asian culture and Thai food happens to be one of our favorites. I requested my travel agent set up a cooking class. We had no expectations but were thoroughly pleased with our experience at the Thai House. We took a private boat...

we only stayed here 2 nights but they were great, food was brilliant and the owners very friendly, Rooms are basic thai, fans only but quite comfortable. If you want to experience a real thai house them this is the place to go. Even better is the fact they have cooking classes for thai food.

It is the best way to experience Thailand. We learned so much about Thai cooking and family culture. We can't thank Pip and her family enough. We felt it was the most authentic way to learn about Thai culture. The accommodation is authentic, rustic, clean, and beautiful. The make you feel like family.

If people are seeking a genuine alternative to the more usual 'run of the mill' hotels, then the Thai House is certainly it. From its traditional Thai architecture to the family run atmosphere and superb meals, this home-stay offers travellers a unique and satisfying experience. One of the earliest of Thailand's home-stays, over the years the Thai House has lost...

We booked a one day cooking class at this lovely bed and breakfast... OMFG!!! Best thing we have done in Thailand! Our morning started by being picked up at our hotel where we caught a private speed boat for a 45 min boat ride through the many canals of Thailand to this lovely bed and breakfast. A quick walk through...

They proposed some activities, it was very nice, we learned a lot with them on the Thai culture, the plants, the fruits, the...

Visited the Thaihouse by a neighbours recommendation for 5 nights with my wife and our two young girls. We had a wonderful time, making excursions to Bangkok and taking our time just to arrive in thailand before heading to the south. Pip and her family were very helpful. We had three times dinner at the thaihouse, extremely delicious and costum...

We stayed at the Thai House for our first two nights in Bangkok per a recommendation of a friend. We were certainly not disappointed. The accommodations are genuinely Thai and the owner Pip and all of the family were also genuinely friendly and accommodating to our questions and requests. A pleasant surprise for us was being able to participate in...

I went to visit Pip for a one day Thai cooking course. The trip to her house took about 1:15. Picked up from hotel to take a ferry boat. We were sailing towards a very remote area of Thailand that is hardly shown on the media. It was an eye opener. However, it was also AMAZING. There were five of...
