Fantastic pub and made to feel very welcome as soon as we arrived . The room was spacious ,very clean and really nicely decorated . (Room 2-darrowby) The bed was huge and room had everything we needed. Nice size bathroom. Central village location. We parked in main car park just in outskirts of main village square (5 mins walk) £6 for 24 hours Had a few drinks in bar at end of the evening - great selection of gins . Slept really well. Breakfast was great ,cereals and juices followed by menu choice (full English) sausages were delicious and very speedy efficient service Overall very happy would definitely stay here again if in area.

We stayed here for one night (Fri 20 May), wish we had stayed for longer but due to work / weekend plans one night was all we could fit in. It was a treat for my partner’s birthday and as he lives in Leeds and I live in Malton it was a great location to explore. Loved everything about this place, the accommodation was modern (amazing bathroom / shower) clean, lovely colours of decoration and exactly what we needed. ALL the staff were helpful and friendly (the lovely young girl who took our breakfast order is worth a special mention), great drinks choice and the breakfast was probably one of the best I have ever had. We didn’t have an evening meal here (just drinks) but when we return we will definitely eat here. Accommodation was a good price and £6 parking for 24 hours in the nearby National Park Visitor Centre was perfect.

My husband book us a 2 night stay here to celebrate my birthday. This beautiful place was so friendly, staff so happy to make your stay here an enjoyable one. Food was delicious, service day and night brilliant. Our room (suite) was lovely, clean with everything you need, it looked out onto the back beer garden but we never heard noise so no issue. If we stay again id like a room at the front overlooking the square. For an amazing surprise we were able to watch the film crew and actors filming All Creatures great and small" right outside the hotel and around the square. Really interesting to watch. We even went out to visit Malham Cove in the sunshine and returned to see snow and Christmas trees on set. The hotel features a lot in this program. Really pleased we got to see this, the hotel staff took all the interuption from the film crew with laughter and smiles and all in there stride. We would definitely return . Thank you x

Went with wife and daughter and loved it! Delicious food, excellent service and a great atmosphere in the dining room. I had the perfectly cooked Lamb Shank, with my wife and daughter having the delicious Beetroot and Goats Cheese Wellington. An excellent selection of beers and wines too.

4 of us had 2 evening meals then a lunch while staying at nearby Linton Falls. Everything we chose was excellent and every member of staff unfailingly helpful. The landlord Matt was constantly checking that all was well and couldn’t have been more helpful. Would definitely recommend eating here when visiting Grassington.

Seems a few people think the same thing ! Interesting approach to service - when we commented to staff that burger was dry, we were told that quite a few people had said same thing this week, and they would have to talk to their butcher. One would have thought after first mention, they would have done something about it. Seemed to us that the thin, tasteless, burgers were pre-cooked and re-heated. On a positive note - selection of Tim Taylor beers good, with Dark Landlord an absolute beauty, if you like this style. Regulars in Dales for 40 years. Will not be eating here again. Shame really.

Staff lovely! Food great! But the Tristan Farnham room is over the bar and we couldn't hear our own TV for the music downstairs blaring out. Not impressed! If we'd had known this was going to happen we'd have asked to change rooms! I won't be returning!

Fantastic from start to finish! Stayed with our 2 young children. The welcome was superb, the room was huge and the food was delicious. We stayed 2 nights, had breakfast and dinner on Both days and each time the service and the food was friendly and spot on. The place was heaving in on a Monday evening which says a lot. We are fines of all creatures great and small so it was a huge bonus that we stayed in the ‘drovers arms’. Would I stay here again? Absolutely without doubt! Thank you to the whole team!

A days walking in the Yorkshire Dales turned very sour. Take a look at the pic. I ordered scampi. I was told it would take a while because they were busy. Busy dipping into the freezer for the oven chips, opening a can of mushy peas and counting the helping of frozen tasteless scampi to throw on a plate with an ageing lemon ….and have the nerve to charge £14 (yes four-teen) pounds for it. It was packed, so all of the people there can’t be wrong! Wrong. I heard several complaints from the nearby tables outside. It’s not too much to ask, is it? …I know you have overheads, energy bills, staff to pay etc etc but instead of making £10 per cover, can you just make £9 in exchange for some decent food with some taste ….please? …If only it was as good as the beer.

My sister and I had an overnight stay and evening meal here, and absolutely loved everything! The hostess gave us a lovely, informative welcome. The room was beautiful with a new bathroom, fluffy white towels and various toiletries to help ourselves to. Nice to have a variety of teas, coffee, biscuits and bottled waters to enjoy. We booked an evening meal near to the roaring fire. The cheese and onion pie with chips and vegetables was delicious. The breakfast was varied, with a plentiful fry up. Our waitress was so hardworking and keen to make sure we were happy. Indeed, every member of staff was friendly and obviously committed to the business.
