Went to Grassington Christmas Market and had lunch at The Devonshire Inn. Food was excellent and staff very friendly and efficient. Had hot beef sandwich and chips and hot turkey sandwich and chips followed by delicious lemon drizzle cake and latte. Highly recommend.

Great food, Great atmosphere, and lovely staff. There was plenty of choice on the main menu, as well as a daily specials selection. My wife had the turkey dinner and I had the lambs liver, with bacon and onions. The food was well presented, piping hot and exceeded our expectations. We'll definitely go back and bring more of the family with us.

A lovely lunch today after a walk through Grass Woods. Big menu, proper home cooked food, great service. Very dog friendly Lots of nostalgia and All Creatures Great and Small memorabilia Lots of people enjoying it here too

Superb evening at The Devonshire for my wife's birthday meal. The food was excellent and the staff couldn't have been more friendly and helpful. The staff even placed a Happy Birthday sticker across our table! Will definitely be returning.

Just went for breakfast and the food and coffee were amazing. We shared the full Yorkshire and Eggs Royal. Both perfectly cooked with lovely runny eggs. The coffee was as strong as we like it. Amazing value for money. Would definitely come back 🥰

Fantastic hotel, really comfy bedrooms which were spotless, great beer, superb staff and the food was tasty and beautifully cooked. The bar was well staffed with quick efficient friendly service. The beer was top notch with at least 6 cask ales including five Timothy Taylor's and Tetley's. The music over the three days was really well chosen. It was unobtrusive and great. We had room 4 which was spacious, clean and comfortable. A hotel should provide a comfy bed with lovely sheets and a bathroom which is clean and well equipped with toiletries, hot water, a bath and a powerful shower. The bathroom has all this.

We had a delightful dinner here. Wonderful atmosphere, beautiful tribute to TV show All Creatures Great and Small, and wonderful service! As celiacs they had fantastic options and we felt great after the meal!

The Devonshire is a nice place to stay which was clean and comfortable. Welcoming hosts and a great selection of beers and the warm pork scratchings was a tasty bar snack. Lovely surroundings with great walks. A nice tasty breakfast as well.

We have been in the Devonshire quite a few times over the last few years for a drink or something to eat but have never stayed until this weekend. We had to book at short notice due to the weather and not fancying staying in the camper van, but are so glad that we did. On arrival the staff were fantastically welcoming and made us fee at home. The room itself was absolutely lovely. We were in the Siegfried Farnham room which was lovely and spacious with a huge comfortable bed. Everything was lovely. A couple of drinks in the bar were to the normal high standard that evening and the fire was blazing. Breakfast was great and filling, arriving in virtually no time.the only complaint might be the black pudding was a bit dry, but we were a long way from Bury and its Lancashire rather than Yorkshire that has the reputation for black pudding. Everything else was spot on. Overall we were very impressed and won't hesitate to book again in the future.…

Excellent lunch. Lovely food, attentive staff. There is also a very long and wonderful gin selection for any gin lover. I would thoroughly recommend a visit. We didn’t stay but the rooms look nice and it is in a beautiful place too.
