Arrived in Grassington one evening without booking any accommodation and by chance came across No 47. What a fantastic find ....a super b&b with all the trimmings of a grand hotel. Sarah was a wonderful host and I would recommend this very comfortable and cosy accommodation to anyone.

We were recommended No. 47 by the owners of The Retreat Tearoom & Bistro just down the street, where we were dining the evening of our visit. We received a warm welcome from owner Sarah as we parked up in the space reserved for No. 47 in the very narrow Main Street (a god send as parking is very limited... More

We spent a night at No47 on our cycling trip from Kendal to Whitby. Sarah made us feel very welcome in her lovely home (which really feels like a home and not a B&B). Our room was cosy and comfortable, yet stylish, and the fluffy white robes were a luxurious touch. The dedicated bathroom was spacious with a bath and... More

A heavenly but homely inglenook cottage escape awaits you in the delightful village of Grassington in the glorious Yorkshire Dales: God's County! 47 is a B and B for one or two exclusively, with one twin bedded room and your own luxury bathroom across the landing. No other guests. Just you - or you two! It is such a lovely... More

A very enjoyable stay as a base for a couple of days cycling in the dales. Just the one cozy twin room with dedicated bathroom makes no47 a peaceful b&b in this very attractive dales village. Really good quality and value evening meals at the busy Forresters pub opposite.

We booked Number 47 as we were attending a wedding in a local village. From the moment of booking, I felt completely reassured by Sarah, as she emailed to find out when we would be arriving and letting us know where she would be if we arrived early. Sarah was so hospitable and has the most beautiful home. The room... More

Number Forty Seven is a fabulous little find. It's reasonably priced, very comfortable, beautifully decorated (by an owner who has impeccable taste and a penchant for French design), and is situated in a small, friendly and picturesque village. It is run by the lovely Sarah who makes fantastic breakfasts and lovely cups of tea! I would definitely return to Number... More

My mother and I loved our stay at Sarah's idyllic cottage in lovely Grassington. Our twin room was beautifully decorated and the beds were extremely comfy. Lovely big bathroom with a bath and separate shower. Excellent cooked breakfast. Sarah is a superb host and couldn't have made us feel more welcome.
