I can't praise Anne-Marie and Serge enough! I had booked the two bed suite for our famly of 4 for a overnight stop but while en route, only a couple of hours away, it became clear through email exchange that I had booked the wrong date! Totally my error, but I called and spoke to Anne-Marie who fortunately was able...

We received a warm welcome from Anne-Marie and Serge at their beautiful home. The suite (duplex de la Verriere) was amazing, spacious with views over paddocks and rolling hills and a freestanding bath with window above to look up at the stars. Our kids loved the little outdoor pool and running around the grounds. High recommended.

The house is found at the end of a rugged drive (take it slowly) and is set on top of a lovely rise in the land, with extensive gardens and paddocks for the hosts' horses, which we visited and petted. The hosts, Serge and Anne-Marie are extremely friendly and speak good English, though were happy to suffer our poor French...

Beautiful setting. Fantastic house. Great hosts. We travelled with three children and had the top floor suite to ourselves. It was a lovely end to our holiday and we will definitely be staying here again but with more time to enjoy the garden and local town.

We stoped over here on our drive back to London from the Charente-Maritime. This is a lovely house on top of a hill in the French countryside surrounded by fields, fruit trees, horses and absolute quiet. Anne-Marie gave us a very warm welcome. Best for us was the suite on top of the house - a VERY spacious set of...

We stopped in the suite on the top floor. We had two large bedroom's, one for us and one for the children. There is also a room with a fridge and kettle. The bathroom is great with a large Jacuzzi bath. This is guest house is very small and as such you are treated exceptionally well, the breakfast is fantastic,...

This guesthouse has 3 very large rooms. We stayed in the Duplex de la VERRIERE. It is a huge suite, 80m2, on two levels. There is a bedroom with a bath overlooking the amazing views of the countryside. Downstairs, there is a living area and dining area, where we were served a plat gourmande and breakfast. The food was good...

We stayed in the Vienne ground-floor room for three nights in early May while exploring the countryside. The place was absolutely quiet. Our room and bathroom were spotlessly clean. Breakfast was plentiful and delicious. Serge and Anne-Marie Marty were gracious hosts. As another reviewer noted, you should plan to arrive in daylight; the roads are small and the driveway is...

We booked the two-bedroom Saumur suite for three nights. The accommodations in this top-floor (3rd) suite were quite nice. The bathroom setup is convenient with a powder room (toilet and sink) adjacent to the two bedrooms and another room with a very large bathtub and sink just a few steps in another direction. The spiral staircase is wooden and in...
