I rarely write reviews on trip advisor, however on this occasion I felt I had to. This was our first night away since January and it was much needed after juggling work and home schooling for 5 months.

The hotels COVID measures were excellent, not once did I feel worried. Everyone wore masks in the hotel and kept their distance when passing in the corridors. The staff were all very friendly and helpful.

We stayed in room 2 which had a sea view. On booking, I felt the room rate was quite high but when we arrived I could see why they charge what they do. There are two very comfy chairs next to the window and both me and my husband just sat looking out in awe of the beauty of St Michael’s Mount for the first half an hour. The location of the hotel is fantastic and there are numerous art galleries, shops and restaurants nearby.

We had the pleasure of having an evening meal at Cutty Sark which is attached to the hotel and wow the food was amazing. I couldn’t fault a single thing on my plate, it was all cooked to perfection. The breakfast was also really tasty.

Marazion Hotel is little gem and we can’t wait to return.

A great stay for three nights in room 9. The breakfast is great especially the granola, which they should definitely think about selling to take home. The bed was lovely and got us seriously considering the virtues of twin single mattresses zipped together. The shower was hot and powerful enough and the shower gel was very nice I think sea kelp. With all the luxury I was looking for the robes and espresso machine but not there yet but this didn’t matter. Room 9 whilst fabulous views there is a split level and one must remember this when going to the loo in the middle of the night. There is quite a bit of light outside at night coming from the hotel sign light just under the windows and a secure light on the building opposite but there are blackout blinds. Here is the obvious but sometimes forgotten thing it is on the road and the windows are only single glazed so yes there is road noise but if you take enough sea air in you will probably won’t notice when your head hits the comfortable pillows. The TV in the room is a reasonable size and has a HDMI port good for a fire stick. The lounge was super inviting in the evenings with a log fire and very comfortable stylist chairs. Acid test would I stay again without hesitation a yes.

Just had a long weekend at The Marazion Hotel. Warm friendly greeting and clear explanation of measures in place to keep us and the staff safe. All staff wearing face masks and copious amounts of hand sanitiser available throughout the hotel. Room was light and airy and had view of St Michaels Mount. Food was very good, great breakfast every day. Evening meals were excellent, well presented and tasty. Cosy lounge for relaxing whilst drinking coffee/night cap.
All staff were friendly and very helpful.
Would recommend and if we come down that way again will definitely book.

We have already booked to return.
The hotel looks across the road to St Michael’s Mount and we were lucky enough to book a sea view room, so could see the Mount from our bedroom.
The staff were excellent, very friendly and conscientious of the current covid-guidelines.
The bedroom was extremely clean and smelt antiseptic-like. All glasses, teabags etc were in plastic bags, which was very reassuring.
The breakfast was excellent, in particular the toast! I had the veggie breakfast and it was very tasty.
Marazion is a beautiful, relaxing place. It was my first time there and I have already booked to return.

The measures put in place by this hotel to keep everyone safe were very comprehensive and filled us full of confidence so that we could relax completely. We stayed in two different rooms and both were very comfortable and well appointed: good lighting, individual bedside fans, good TV and wifi reception, well organised replenishing of tea, coffee, milk and biscuits. In addition breakfasts were superb and food in the restaurant good. All the staff were efficient and helpful. Even the car parking was safely designated. We could think of nothing that could be improved upon, given the current circumstances that we have to live with.

After a very hectic Christmas, my husband and I decided to have a quiet getaway for 4 days. We chose Marazion as we had never stayed there and chose the hotel based on reviews. Marazion is a very small village with St Michaels mount set in the sea close by. We were looking forward to having some lovely walks and great food. The Marazion Hotel is right in the centre of this small but quaint village.
We were warmly greeted by the smell of a log fire and Karen the GM. The reception area is lovely, very welcoming. We were shown to our room No 3 which was lovely. A huge bed and brightly decorated room with the themes of the sea scattered around. The bathroom was very modern with beautiful white towels. (Shower is amazing, water pressure is fantastic). We had a front facing view where we could clearly see St Michaels Mount. Lots of power points with the added benefits of USB points!. WIFI is very quick. Lovely Tea Tray with great selection of tea, coffee and hot chocolate biscuits and bottled water which was replenished daily. The room was spotlessly clean and the bed super comfortable. Attention to detail was refreshing, power points at the dressing table was just great along with the hairdryer. There is also a black out blind along with heavy curtains. We slept extremely well.
Breakfast is just incredible, a lovely selection of cereals and fruit however my favourite was the natural yoghurt with their homemade granola and selection of super seeds and goji berries. Of course there is a hot menu selection freshly cooked to order and all foods locally sourced. The Cornish breakfast is delicious and a great start to a day of walking.
We ate at the restaurant 3 out of the 4 nights we stayed. The food is incredible and as breakfast, all food is locally sourced. You might want to miss lunch though as the portions are very generous 😀. The staff are meticulous, friendly, warm and efficient and truly are a credit to this hotel. There is also a small bar and a very inviting cosy lounge with a log fire
The hotel has a 4 star AA award which is truly deserving. They haven’t missed anything to ensure guests feel well slept, well fed and well cared for. Lots of hotels do not get all of these important requirements but this hotel has got it spot on. Along with the spectacular location we will definitely be returning. Well done

Top class service and facilities from start to finish.

We had a great stay, all staff very friendly, room was a good size, very comfortable and warm. Breakfast was perfect, table service (much more hygienic and better cooked than buffet style), note the Cornish breakfast is 2 of everything so very large and suitable for someone with a big appetite, I stuck with the small one which was still a fair size and sets you up for the rest of the day, you can pick and choose what items you have and if want 1 egg instead of 2, scrambled, boiled or poached, etc. Room service is optional. Price for winter stay is very good value. The restaurant food is perfect too, we had pie of the day, home cooked and very large chunks of beef inside, again perfect. Locals in the bar are very friendly and welcoming, just like all the staff. Secure car park on site, a few steps to the bus stop (open top bus running even in the winter to St Ives, Lands End, etc and only £5 per person or £10 for a family per day for unlimited travel and usually quite reliable). A few local shops all open and not forgetting the beach, literally a few steps from the hotel and at low tide can walk across to St Michaels Mount or take the level coastal walk to Penzance (or Long Rock if you want a more frequent bus service / evening service to St Ives - recommend downloading the bus app for live times). I could not find any faults with The Marazion Hotel and Cutty Sark Bar and Restaurant - all perfect 10/10 and will definitely be back. Special thanks to the manager Karen for making our stay a perfect one.

Thank you so much for making our trip so comfortable and amazing, we wanted a peaceful get away. We stayed two nights and the room was immaculate and had a coastal cosy feeling to it. The bathroom was clean and modern, smart tv, small refreshments in the room really loved the idea of the recycling basket. We booked the last room at the hotel so had a standard double bed - this was the only downside as it was too small for us and slightly uncomfortable but didn’t dampen our stay and the room did get quite hot due to being above the kitchen. The staff were exceptional, everything you really want out of a stay! So friendly and welcoming made you feel so at home. The hotel itself was modern and interior was stunning, I especially took to the lounge area. Free wifi and gated parking and right by the sea front, brilliant access to everything. The restaurant was amazing, we opted for a few dishes but the scallops and hake were top of the chart. Lovely selection of wine and local gins! Loved that the bar area was separate although always busy. It has a lovely atmosphere! We will be visiting again. See you again :)

We spent 3 nights here in mid-August and stayed in a standard double room, Room 11, which was a smaller en-suite double room on the top floor.
It’s honestly hard to fault anything about our time at the Marazion Hotel from start to finish.
Karen and her team are exceptional. From the moment we arrived, they were welcoming, friendly and helpful, and our room was comfortable, spotlessly clean and had everything we needed. The breakfast in the morning was delicious and there’s also a lovely relaxing lounge area where we spent time enjoying their comfy sofas and drinks from the bar!
Parking was easy and the location is right in the heart of Marazion, so you can easily walk to St Michael’s Mount.
A fantastic hotel which I’d thoroughly recommend and hope to visit again.

We revived such a warm welcome from the receptionist. As we entered the car park everything was at ease and we were able to get the vehicle into a space and then straight through the side door for check in.
The receptionist was very friendly, offered us a dinner table and seemed to be really enjoying her job,, later on she arranged some breads and deserts for us as we didn’t need a full meal.
The views from the hotel are dreamy and all of the galleries are within a stone throw.
There is some noise from the front rooms in the mornings ( with the window open ) however this was not a problem as we felt fortunate to be in such a desirable location and with car parking on hand.
Would 100 % recommend and also thank you to the lovely breakfast staff who did a great job of serving up a perfect start to the day.
