Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

My partner and I had one week in caravan number 17 for the second week in September. Absolutely Fantastic! The van was absolutely spotless. So cosy especially with the central heating on. Shower, bedrooms, everything about the van was fantastic and the site itself was so cosy too. Ten minutes walk into the village and two minutes over the road and onto the beach. Have already rebooked before we left again for next year. The owners Lucy and Aidan were absolutely lovely too. Want a lovely cosy break on a spotless site then definitely come here.

We could not have enjoyed our stay at Mount's Bay Caravan Park any more. Aidan and Lucy were warm and welcoming and our caravan was spacious, spotless and well-maintained. The site is quite small, quiet and peaceful- well-suited to those who aren't keen on late night rioting. The children loved the heated outdoor pool, spending time each day splashing about in it (even when it rained). The beach opposite is absolutely beautiful and the park is only a few minutes' walk from a lovely little chip shop and some small shops selling essential items like ice-cream, bread, milk and snorkels. Mount's Bay Caravan Park is an absolutely beautiful place to stay and we will definitely be back. Many thanks for such a fantastic holiday!

Mounts Bay Caravan Park is my favourite place to stay in Cornwall. I first stayed here in 1987 and for the following 5 summers and finally returned with my family in June 2023. It was exactly as I remembered it. The Caravan was pristine. The Swimming pool was warm and cleaned daily. There is a hut which provides leaflets, books, games and beach activities for the children which was amazing and very much loved by my 10 year old! The beach is literally a minute walk away and Marazion shops themselves less than a five minute walk. You also have the use of a free car park whilst you stay here. The location is superb and Penzance is only a five minute drive away with a number of large supermarkets within a few minutes drive away. Aidan and Lucy are wonderful hosts and ensured that we had everything we needed during our stay. We will 100% be returning in the future. 5***** Caravan park.

We had seen the Mounts Bay Caravan Park sign for years and always wanted to stay there. We tried it this year (22nd – 29th July 2023) and had the best time ever! What a lovely couple Aiden and Lucy are, very hospitable. Over the years we’ve stayed in expensive hotel rooms that weren’t as clean as our Caravan (9a Ashdale), it was spotless! The Swimming Pool was cleaned daily and never too busy. Lovely inviting warm water and just the right depth for the kids. Personally, I wouldn’t change anything about the park, the children would have liked WIFI (something we would have paid extra for), but this is just an observation and not a criticism. We will be going back next year but staying for two weeks!

Hi, Thankyou for taking the time to leave such a lovely review! Sorry about the Wi-Fi, unfortunately it just isn't possible for us down by the reserve, a few seemingly confident companies have looked into it over the years and got baffled by the lack of infrastructure, one as recently as last year. Something about no line back up to the exchange. Anyway if this is who I believe it is, it was an absolute pleasure to accommodate you and we are glad to have you as hopefully new regular customers!

My wife and I have just returned from a perfect stay at Mounts Bay caravan site. This is our second visit to this well set out and very professionally run business . Aiden and Lucy have worked hard to provide a very high standard of accommodation and essential amenities such as private car park, picnic benches at each caravan, swimming pool and on site laundry. The small number of vans mean that there is no crowding, basically 2 by 2 up the sloping site giving all guests a great view of the bay. The caravans and the whole site are cared for lovingly by Aiden and Lucy so I can categorically say that we Highly Recommend this site to both couples and family’s. Thanks again both.

This was our first visit to Mounts Bay Caravan Park and it was superb. Lovely clean site and very quiet. The caravan was modern and well equipped. The site is very close to St Michael's Mount and all the usual attractions in this part of Cornwall. Aiden & Lucy are very helpfull. Would recommend.

Just returned from a wonderful holiday at this immaculately kept, spotlessly clean, peaceful holiday park. Aidan and Lucy are extremely accommodating friendly people and fantastic hosts. The park is perfectly placed for Marazion and local beaches. This was our second year here and we have already booked for 2024.

This is a beautifully kept site, lovely cornish/ tropical garden, and small with only 17 caravans. The quiet was lovely, all we could hear at night was the sea and the wind in the trees. We were in the Ashdale number 16 which was very spacious and comfortable with lots of storage, comfortable seating, and a spacious shower. Fully equipped kitchen with a gas oven to cook on and a full size fridge freezer. Great location, very near Marazion beach which is good for swimming, and you can warm up afterwards with a swim in the heated pool at the site! Also its a lovely spot for watching the sunset with lovely views of the mount. We walked some of the south west coast path from our door - I would really recommend the walk from here to Praa Sands via Perranuthnoe and Prussia Cove, its six miles so a good hike, but a beautiful mornings walk with a lot of chances to swim on the way. Lucy and Aiden who run the site live on site and are lovely hosts with loads of local knowledge. Overall highly recommended and we will definitely be back!

Stayed here a few years running and each visit just gets better and better. Caravans are luxurious, spotlessly clean, kitchen with all utensils, pans etc plus fridge freezer, cooker, microwave etc. Site is very quiet and peaceful, no cars allowed only to unload and load again but there’s a lovely car park and if you judge it correctly, you can see your vehicle from the caravan. Pool is amazing- exceptionally clean and well kept. If you need laundry facilities- all are available on site. Local shops, bars and restaurants are within easy walking distance, as is St Michael’s Mount which is a must see when visiting. If you don’t want to drive, a good bus service is available taking you from Penzance to Lands End with some beautiful places in between. For the more fitter holidaymakers there is a flat coastal walk to Penzance. There is also an RSPB nature reserve literally at the end of the road.
