This is a lovely small park, just minutes away from the lovely beach by St Michaels Mount. It is well placed for exploring in this area. The caravans were beautifully clean and had everything in it you could need. Felt very covid safe here! The owners Elliott and Amy could not have been nicer. My son did some accidental damage to the table, and when we reported it, refused to accept any payment, and were so understanding. The other most amazing thing they did was to take in a cat that lived next door, he was old and seemed to prefer the caravan park to his real home. I was concerned as he was crying outside our caravan when the weather was bad and seemed to be very hungry. I managed to make some contact with the owner who was quite happy for the cat to go to a new owner. We were prepared to take him in, but then Amy and Elliott volunteered to keep his despite having pets of their own. I would also like to add that we had to move our holiday several times due to lockdown and they made the process so easy. Would highly recommend this park.…
In times of adversity we couldn’t have asked for a better place to stay. As well as the excitement of being on holiday, we felt peace of mind with the amount of effort that Amy & Elliott had gone to to ensure that the site & accommodation was up to the highest standards of cleanliness & clear instructions of new procedures due to Covid-19. They are both fantastic hosts & always on hand if you require anything or info. Mounts Bay is a true little gem and a brilliant place for families to enjoy a perfect holiday. Definitely will be returning!! .. (ps .. we will be back for the kids sling shot ball in 2021!)
Our fourth visit here. Delighted to see Covid precautions are stringent- keys disinfected, a deep clean and ‘fogging’ of vans, fairly timetabled pool allocations but, as always, the warm welcome annnnnnnd.... Fern! A quiet and safe location for families and couples where nothing is too difficult for Elliott and Amy to organise for you. Great parking, short walk to Marazion, the beach, St Michael’s Mount, a children’s playground, nice pubs... We sincerely look forward to our return visit and highly recommend!
In these strange Covid dictated times it somewhat reassuring to know you will be going somewhere you feel "safe". Having been several times before we knew what to expect from the site on a day to day basis, but was unsure to how this would be affected by current circumstances. Pre arrival communucation was clear and concise and made clear what had been put in place to ensure everyones safety. The Caravans (always spotless like the rest of the site) had been deep cleaned and fogged, sanitiser and extra cleaning materials were left in the vans. Sanitiser available in several locations on the site. A booking system was in place for the pool and seemed to work well. The Caravans are well equipped with everything you could want. Aside from all this, the welcome from Elliot and Amy is wonderfully warm, you eally do feel like returning friends whether visit 1 or 11! The 2 weeks were challenging with hospital visits, floods, 2 storms, power cuts, wind , rain, sun, you name it we had it all. But none of that detracts from the great time had. If you've not been, you really should go, a graet base for touring the whole of the west of Cornwall, short drives to Lands End, The Minack, St Ives, Falmouth to name but a few. Tintagel Castle 90 mins away, Eden project slightly less. Marazion itself is a 10 minute stroll away, Penzance less than 5 minutes drive. All in all, another great stay, roll on next year!…
Mount's Bay is a lovely place to stay. Elliott and Amy are very welcoming, and the effort they have made to make everyone feel as safe as possible due to covid is seriously impressive. Everything is spotless and there are systems in place for things like the pool, so you still get to enjoy them whilst feeling safe. The caravans are very nice, well equipped and again very very clean. The best thing though is the location. Short walk to Marazion beach, west coast 10 minutes drive to glorious beaches of Hayle and Carbis bay, and St Ives. Or short drive along South coast to Praa Sands and all the other beaches and coves. Slightly further afield there is lands end and lizard all within 30 minutes driving. Thanks for a lovely holiday!
