AS seen on Channel Four's 'Four in a Bed', Appalachian Spring is a former farmhouse with a beautiful south-facing garden and patio in rural Dartington village close to the award-winning 14th century thatched Cott Inn. One mile from main line Totnes station and medieval Dartington Hall Estate the accommodation consists of three double rooms – one with lounge and extra double sofa-bed and one with extra single bed, all with en-suite/private facilities. Luxury mattresses and bedding, tea /coffee trays, and local produce for a delicious full English breakfast make for a very comfortable, welcoming and friendly B and B. Your host is a viola player and Alexander Technique teacher. Free parking immediately outside the garden gate. Singles are welcome, and children.

Thank you so much for your wonderful review. Your visit was a delight. I tend to respond to reviews I receive privately, as indeed I have done with you, but am also writing this publicly, to reassure any non dog lovers, that my 'fabulous resident dog' is kept separately in a different part of the house from Elmhirst and Holst, so if any one reading this is apprehensive, there is no need to be. She is an optional extra!.

An ideal location for me. The town is only 5-10 minutes by car. And the Cott Inn is only 7 minute walk for a pleasant dinner as recommended by our host, Toni. Toni was very accommodating with great communication during the planning for my stay. The accommodation is warm and

Are dogs accepted ?
I am so sorry but I have a "no dog' policy. Although there is a resident dog, he is kept away from guests unless they want to see him. Thanks for checking. Toni

Dear Maruca Email me on my name as in the brackets followed by Dartington without anything between, at Gmail. It won't let me write it properly. I look forward to hearing from you. Best wishes Antonia Del Mar(Toni)

Dear Michael, Thank you for the enquiry. My rooms are all en-suite double rooms. As a single person for the nights of 4th,5th March the price would be £50 per night to include a full English breakfast. Best wishes Toni
