Les Rochers is a charming traditional Alpine hotel situated between Valtournenche and Cervinia. Our hotel has a cosy welcoming atmosphere and has only 13 rooms where you will feel right at home. Each room has a different layout and a stunning view over the surrounding mountains! Our free private shuttle service brings our guests to the skilifts of Valtournenche, Cervinia (winter) or the golf court (summer) in the morning and will pick you up in the evening. The heated ski locker to dry your boots & ski's makes sure you start your day comfortably during the winter period. In 2012 Barbara and Simon decided to invest in a luxueus and spacieus wellness complex for their guests.

Hotel Les Rochers is a perfect spot. With our family we have been there twice in summer now.
Barbara and Simon welcome you in a cosy and well outfitted hotel
The rooms are nice with excellent beds.
The breakfast is good, a rich buffet with a personal touch by Barbara for eggs.
The dinner is a party every evening !
Barbara runs a show with a crew to serve you a formidable meal.
A veggie buffet as an opener. Then mostly a rich soup.
Followed by a choice of pastas. Then a choice of meat/fish dishes.
Finally a choice of desserts, often combinations with fruit, homemade cake, and ice cream.
The personnel is trained to be extremely servicable and friendly.
The hotel becomes even more interesting knowing that it has an extensive spa, with relaxing rooms, sauna, swimming pool and hot tub. On the roof there is a grassy area with a lovely gazebo with views into the valley.
Even more special is that Simon there has his observatory. He loves to show you the nightly sky with the famous storm on Jupiter and the rings and moons of Saturn.
The hotel caters for pool play, table tennis and volleyball.
If you are lucky, Simon will show you his miniature sailing boats and radio steered aircraft.

The hotel is situated close to many of the walking routes crossing the Breuil Cervina valley, close to Valtournench where you can do your groceries, have a great lunch or italian icecream. It is also close to a lift bringing you up to 2200 meters with direct access to a whole score of walking routes.

Barbara and Simon are warm hosts with interesting stories, very much willing to advice you how to go around,
All for what we think is very reasonably priced.

My family and friends have been visiting this hotel for 16 years since we discovered it in 2006. We have visited on many occasions mostly for skiing and three times in the summer. Simon & Barbara always make you feel welcome in this family run hotel.

The rooms are very comfortable with great showers and baths, some have working fireplaces. The breakfast buffet is really good with Barbara cooking fried or boiled eggs on demand. Then the daily ritual of choosing the evening meal which is entertaining. The evening meals are large with many courses and traditional local cuisine, I would highly recommend the food. The wine list is extensive with many local reds and the bar is great fun, with Simon regaling us of past and current adventures.

Simon also provides the minibus shuttle to and from the ski slopes, just a phone call away at the end of the days skiing.

I would highly recommend this wonderful, homely, friendly hotel for a skiing or a summer holiday.

I envisage returning with family and friends for many years to come

Salute Barbara & Simon

Very good location between the main lift stations in Valtournenche and Cervinia. Simon is always giving a lift to the lift stations both in the morning and in the afternoon. There is even a ski bus stop in front of the hotel as well.
Very clean hotel, extremely friendly staff. You can book a half board, the food is very delicious and of high quality products. The spa department is wonderful with different saunas, a swimming pool, jacuzzi and relax area with an outstanding view of the mountains. The prices are also very acceptable, good value for money! The only disadvantage is that they do not have too many rooms, so make sure to book in good time ;-)!

My family and I had a great stay at Les Rochers where the hospitality offered by Barbara, Simon and their small team could not be bettered.

The hotel itself is warm and cosy with comfortable rooms, a great pool/spa area and absolutely delicious food is served each morning and evening. The service, whether it be lifts to the ski runs, front of house or in the restaurant was never less than excellent.

Les Rochers is not right on the slopes and is not a 5* swanky hotel but it isn't trying to be! It is a genuine, family-run hotel where the owners clearly put their heart and soul into running a hotel that you will really enjoy staying in.

We hope to have the chance to return.

Barbara and Simon do everything they can to make you feel at home! Some examples: the upper part of my skis was slightly detached from the base. I could live with this, but Simon could not stand it (ex ski-monitor). Not only did he secretly fix them, but he also did a complete maintenance. My cousin had forgotten the code to open his suitcase. Simon spend half an hour to open it… The food was excellent (too much). On Thursday you can taste all kinds of regional products. This was the first time in my life that I refused desert (not that I didn’t appreciate the choice, but it was really too much). The wellness is a delight. Everything is perfectly clean and the shuttle service is very efficient.

Barbara and Simon run a fantastic hotel.
Outstanding kitchen and nowadays an up to standard wellness and (indoor) swimming pool.
So nice to sit near the fire and enjoy a well deserved drink after a day’s skiing in Valtournenche or Cervinia.
No worrying of finding a parking place for your car near the lifts. Simon will take you there and picks you up at the end of the day.
If you expect great luxury, go to the Ritz. If you want everything else for a great time skiing, go to Hotel Les Rochers.
I have been there many times and I was never disappointed

We have stayed at Les Rochers twice now, both times could not have been better. Simon and Barbara are very welcoming, the rooms have an authentic feel with little luxuries like a corner bath in the bedroom (!). Dining is a joy, the food is truly excellent and Barbara's wine suggestions were perfect. Well placed for Pila as well as Cervinia (two quite contrasting ski areas) you should not miss out on this little gem.

Having skied in the Aosta valley numerous times before at Pila, Courmayeur, La Thuile and Champoluc we decided to give snow sure Cervina/Valtournenche a try for an early December long weekend break. Having looked at Trip advisor reviews we decided to book at Les Rochers and we can only concur with the other favourable reports. Despite the new spa area not being ready or open yet as advertised on the hotel web site we enjoyed a wonderful stay. The hotel is extremely welcoming with Barbara and Simon fantastic hosts. Barbara looks after front of house and oversees the dining room in a caring but unobtrusive way. Simon provides transport from and to the lifts and provides valuable advice on conditions, weather, mountain restaurants etc He can also be found behind the bar in the evenings to exchange stories with. The food is quite simple but absolutely delicious. Home cooking at its best. It is also plentiful with second helpings offered on each of the four courses. The local Aosta wine is excellent and very reasonably priced. Breakfast is the usual buffet style with a lovely array of choices from cheese, ham and hard boiled eggs to cereal and pastries. The décor of the hotel is delightful with lots of wood and a roaring fire in the lounge areas. The bedrooms are comfortable and spacious with free wifi access. The impending spa will only add to the experience. The skiing conditions were excellent on piste but unfortunately winds closed many of the links over the three days which meant we did not manage to get over to Zermatt. The local slopes of Valtournenche seem very quiet and offer very easy cruising for intermediate skiers. The long run down to the village is particularly enjoyable. Cervinia offers a wealth of long runs accessed by fast lifts in the main. Views of the Matterhorn are sensational. All in all, a very enjoyable break and we can’t wait to return to gain the full experience of the vast skiing area. And, of course, our preferred accommodation will be Les Rochers despite its slightly inconvenient location between Valtournenche and Cervina. Highly recommended.

This is a great hotel - the food was excellent every day and it is really nice to be offered seconds in a hotel! The room was very good with plenty of storage and lovely bathroom (shower only) and ours had a massive balcony. We had no problem with road noise despite being at the front of the hotel and being used to sleeping in a very quiet location. Barbara and Simon are wonderful hosts. Bar area is cosy and relaxing and we enjoyed playing chess, pool and chatting with the other guests. Wellness area was excellent.
