Stayed for a few nights over the bank holiday weekend. The B&B is in an old cottage and full of character. Our room had a very comfortable super king size bed, TV, kettle and en-suite. Breakfast was gorgeous - choice of cooked breakfast (particularly loved the Welsh Dragon sausages), cereal etc. Ingredients were all local and bread homemade. The proprietors... More

Very welcoming when we arrived. Room very comfortable, clean and quiet. Room also had good character. Good choices for breakfast, delicious and locally sourced. One of the best places I've stayed in! Would certainly come again. Well worth a visit.

The Old Brick Guesthouse was positioned in the centre of Bishops Castle. The owners were very friendly and accommodating people, who put themselves out to make you welcome. The breakfast was excellent. Room very clean, but could do with some modernisation. Overall, excellent stay, would recommend.

Stayed here with a group of eight (very respectable) motorcyclists on a tour of Wales (I know it's not quite in Wales!). We arrived late after a long day's riding & found very convenient parking at the rear for our bikes. We were in a great rush to get to our pre-booked table at The Boars Head, across the road,... This is a small guesthouse run by a lovely couple, Rosie and Norm and they could not have been friendlier. We were made welcome from the moment we arrived and nothing was too much trouble. Room was cosy and had everything we needed. It was clean, had a couple of easy chairs, a shower room and the bed was comfortable.... More

Good base to explore local and surrounding areas. Guesthouse is building full of character, oak beams etc. Great food, great rooms. Would visit again.

Very nice room, clean and well furnished. Excellent breakfast with plenty of choices. Full English included Welsh Dragon sausages from the local butcher, with more than a hint of chilli, delicious though not to everybody's taste, and home-made bread and marmalade. Reasonable value for high quality accommodation.
